"you were the one who wanted to get married!" san throws towards yeosang who was honestly hurt

"oh, so it's my fucking fault now!" he yells back at him, frustration running through his veins as his husband just had the nerve to pin this down to him

"no, no, i'm sorry." san tries to apologize but yeosang wasn't having it "we could have gotten married back in seoul-"

"no! we have to get married here and play the game." san holds his husband who was still shaking "your brother said, oh wait, you also said this, that we could've gotten married anywhere but now you're flip flopping!" yeosang throws it back at him, san must have thought that yeosang forgot the conversation they had before the wedding

"but you could have some decency and told me san." yeosang points out as he glares at him, the fondness in his eyes were long gone

"yeosang, if i told you, you would have left." yeosang somehow felt the guilt in san's part as the younger held his limp hand, looking at their wedding rings

"you're everything to me yeosang and i promise you that i will do everything to protect you." he kisses yeosang, tasting the salty tears in his lips as he held him softly

"just go down this hall, it leads to the kitchen and i will go to the security room and try to unlock the doors, okay? i love you so much." yeosang just nods and finds himself running the opposite direction, away from san and probably into danger.

he felt the fire burn his heart and lungs as he runs as fast as he could, his boots stomping heavily on the concrete floor as he runs, blinking away the tears as he thought of the worst thing that could happen to him, today was supposed to be the happiest day of his life but san's family prevented him from having that.

when he gets to the end of the hall, there were two doors and it just makes his lips wobble when he realized that san didn't tell him which door to go through, so he just whimpers and goes through the door to his left, but to his regret he was met with the familiar hallway of the house, as well as jongho, wooyoung and hongjoong

"well, found him." wooyoung says sarcastically while hongjoong swings his pistol between his fingers, ready to shoot when yeosang swiftly turns around to be met with yunho at the end of the hall who screams when he was met with yeosang, he fires the gun countless of times but yeosang, with sheer dumb luck managed to evade all of the bullets as he pushed past the blue-haired man, knocking him into the ground and scrambling to get the gun from him.

"yunho! for god's sake! aim for the center of gravity!" hongjoong yells at him from the oppostite side of the hall "i got surprised!"

yeosang somehow made it to the mansion's bar with little to no injuries, immediately going to the windows as a means of getting out only to find it locked and he just collapsed down on to the floor, just as the door opens and he looks up to see wooyoung, lugging around his shotgun, he makes eye contact with yeosang before walking around him

"just here to get a drink, sang." he sits down on the bar stool, pouring himself some bourbon "i have to call the others," he says solemnly while yeosang was still trying to catch his breath

"it won't end well for you and i just don't want to be the one who serves you up." he didn't even take a second to look at yeosang, he couldn't bear to see his brother's husband be in so much fear and pain but he also had to think about his family, despite is utter detest towards them, he still has a small place in his heart for them

"i'll give you a 20 second head start, go." says wooyoung before downing his drink and he hears yeosang's footsteps run out of the room and he moves himself in front of the fireplace as he counts to twenty, swirling the drink in his glass as he stares at the fire

"he's in here with me!"

the family sprung into action, making their way into the bar upon hearing wooyoung's loud call.

jongho was the first one to get in the room and he sees his husband with a somber look painted on his face "where is he?" jongho asks, approaching him while he looks around the room for a glimpse of yeosang's white suit or blonde hair but he was defeated when he didn't see anyone in the room other than wooyoung

"you lost him?" he grew annoyed at how careless wooyoung was being "indeed, dear husband." he raises his glass up to jongho who took it immediately, drinking the remaining liquid

"could you at least pretend to care babe?" he puts the glass on the mantle before wrapping his arms around wooyoung

"i'm sure you'll find him and kill him, with or without my help." wooyoung takes jongho's hand, kissing them, especially the finger that had a wedding ring wrapped around them "you know darling, i just realized something," jongho hums, leaning down to kiss wooyoung's neck

"i remember how you reacted when i told you about this," he says lowly "you didn't fucking blink darling." he pulls jongho into his lap, caressing his cheek

"you couldn't wait to sign your soul away baby." jongho just nibbles on his bottom lip, bringing his hand up to wooyoung's hand to keep it there

"you knew how rough my life was and i'd rather be dead than lose all of this."

their somewhat intimate moment was interrupted when hongjoong and seonghwa came into the room, responding to wooyoung's call asking where yeosang was "afraid you just missed him," wooyoung says, holding in a cackle

"look, hyung, san got out." jongho tells hongjoong who groans "is it over? did you catch him?" mingi comes running in with yunho in his hold

"sadly no but he knows what is going on, thanks to yunho over here." hongjoong points his pistol at the blue-haired male who rolls his eyes "he was literally right in front of him when he missed." yunho pouts and mingi, knowing how sensitive he can be, brings him out of the room

"well, we gotta kill that twink before sunrise." jongho gets up from wooyoung's lap, swinging his mallet around before marching out of the room

"the clock is ticking joong, shouldn't we just use the cameras?" seonghwa asks, picking at the string of his bow

"you have no respect for tradition my sweet petal." hongjoong says with an obviously sarcastic smile "times have changed my little strawberry." seonghwa fires back with just the same amount of sarcasm as his husband

"well, if you don't find him, we're all going to be dead by dawn." wooyoung says without a care in the world as he just keeps adding more alcohol into his system

"then it's settled, joong take wooyoung with you to check the cameras." seonghwa struts out of the room while wooyoung just throws his glass into the wall, throwing a tantrum like he was a toddler.
