Chapter 1: Mabeobja's Squad

Agent Kelso: Okay listen up! We're coming up fast on the Base of Operations ahead. Its going to be the Navy Pier tourist attraction. From the reports coming out of the downtown areas of the city, it looks like 3 settlements were evacuated after being attacked & destroyed by a militaristic faction known as the "Jackals". Their current Base of Operations was the Soldier Field, but now the bad guys ran them out and taken over the base. Manny spoke to the Commander ahead of time in charge of the city and they had to setup shop at the Pier but they're low on supplies badly. Thanks to Sarah's reconnaissance of the windy city and the footage from the ISAC CCTV feed she was able to pull, we're able to surveil and monitor the current area we'll be starting in for any threats and civilians in distress. Once we touch down, we're going to have to get right to work on this. We may have an upper hand now but there's no telling what this new crew is capable of doing. Looking at the images now, they're not just street thugs and petty criminals, they look military, mercenaries, black ops division, you name it, they look professional, no bullshit on this. Agent Mab, check in with Manny and give him a sitrep of our current situation.

Agent Mabeobja: Roger, Kelso. Manny, its Agent Mab, do you read me, over?

Manny Ortega: Loud and clear, what's your current status, squad leader?

Agent Carter: This is Phoenix 5-0 comin' to you live in Chicago, boss man. Squad is prepped and ready to go. Let's go kick some ass!

Agent: Sebastian: Hey! Give our leader time to speak "ja" (yes)? Don't get cocky here, that winter storm is picking up fast! We're gonna have touch down soon unless we want to end up in that frozen lake like we're on Titanic!

Agent Sarah: Ease up, boys! We're the best at our job, they wouldn't send us here if we didn't! That snowfall is reminding me back in New York when the virus first struck us. Squad leader, carry on.

Manny Ortega: They sound energetic and pumped for this mission. But remember to play it safe and stay alert in the field. Agent Mabeobja, status report.

Agent Mabeobja: Yes sir. Our Blackhawk helicopter is coming up on the Pier to drop my squad and Kelso soon. ETA 5 mikes to Base. Storm is picking up and Kelso briefed us on the reconnaissance ahead thanks to Sarah's intel she acquired from the ISAC cameras. 

Manny Ortega: Copy all, squad leader. Once you arrive there, you'll be meeting up with Commander Isaiah Jones as it appears my Chicago contact, former Division Commander John Whitley has been confirmed KIA. My guess, the Jackals had a role in taking him out to strike fear into the city as he tried keeping the peace.

Agent Mabeobja: Copy that, Manny. Pier is getting closer, I'll get Sarah to set up a comms unit to reach out and link with the rest of our agents here in the city, Manny. My squad and Kelso will you updated on the foreseeable future, Mab out.

Manny Ortega: Understood. Keep you and your squad safe in the city and stay warm out there. Cindy's tracking the weather and it looks like its getting colder than NYC on the day of the outbreak. Stay warm out there, agents. Godspeed, over and out. 

Agent Max: Never actually been to Chicago, I wanted to always come here and try the food and see the tourist attractions. 

Agent Carter: I actually came here before. Worked with the firefighter stations here and helped to train new recruits. Some of them now are Division Agents, but its been too long since we last spoke. I hope they are okay and alive.

Agent Kelso: Well I guess we'll find out soon enough, The Pier is coming up just ahead. 

Agent Mabeobja: Alright team, check your gear and get ready to land. Everyone knows their job and what we're doing here. So lets go save this city and take down the Jackals.

Black Hawk Helicopter Pilot: Coming up the Pier now! Prepare to land and exfil Phoenix 5-0. Kelso I have to put us down near the entrance of the pier, in the grass.
