It all started in their freshmen year of highschool. The green girl would date a monster. The monster's eyes started to shift towards another; the pink girl. The green girl was sad when the monster finally broke things off. The pink girl was glad that a boy had taken such an interest in her. As the relationship between the pink girl and the monster went on, the green girl was always there. Whether she was standing just around the corner, the monster brought her up in conversation, or pink girl would worry that the monster going back to her. Fellow students who claimed to be their friends would go from girl to girl saying that one hated the other. Both the girls always replied, "How can I hate her? I don't even know her." Weeks went by and the monster would talk about the green girl to the pink girl. "What if you two had a sleep over?", he would ask. The pink girl would imagine them both having a slumber party like in the movies with pillow fights and make overs. "Yeah. That would be nice.", said the pink girl. "It would give you two a chance to...get to know each other better.", the monster said. "Yes, you're right.", said the pink girl, hopefully. "Would you say that you like her?", asked the monster with a twisted twinkle in his eye. "I don't know her, but I'm sure we could be friends.", the pink girl said with a smile. "You guys would kiss and--" Suddenly, the pink girl's heart sank. "Kiss? But I'm with you." She was confused. You can't be with someone and kiss somebody else. That would be cheating, right? "It'd be ok. I'd be there, too." The monster filled the pink girl's head with thoughts about the green girl. "Maybe, I could try it. It might be nice", the pink girl replied, half-heartedly. "You know, I've been talking to her while we've been talking and she said she'd be up for it." The pink girl was definitely confused now and even a bit embarrassed. This was his ex-girlfriend and his current girlfriend. He wanted them to be more than just friends. He filled their heads more and more. Things became awkward at school. Were the two girls supposed to talk to each other? What would they say? "Hey, I think I have a crush on you?" It was confusing for everyone, except the monster who was loving every minute of it.
