It was a normal day, or so it seemed, but something was troubling the Nekoma and Nohebi boys volleyball teams.

Why did their captains despise each other so much?

It had been concerning them all day, and Shibayama had befriended some of Nohebi's team, allowing them to contact the other. Deciding that it would be more difficult to get Daishou to tell them about it, the two teams agreed to consult Kuroo about their question.

Nohebi didn't have practice that day, so they ventured over to Nekoma right before practice began. There, as they entered, the entirety of the Nekoma boys volleyball team grabbed Kuroo and walked him back into a free classroom, with Nohebi following behind.

"WHAT THE HELL GUYS, LET ME GO! WHY IS NOHEBI HERE?! WE'RE SUPPOSED TO BE PRACTICING!" Kuroo shouted, but to no avail, continuing to be carried off until they arrived at the classroom.

Nekoma immediately pushed him into a chair and used some rope to keep him in place. He was screaming for them to release him, but they immediately silenced him after Kenma gave him a light slap and told him to shut up and listen.

Hiroo started,"Kuroo-san, why do you and Suguru despise each other so much?"

At that, Kuroo's face dropped, turning pale, a from expression on his face as he looked away.

"Kuroo, please. We just wanna know so we can try and help you two make up..." Kenma said, using full sincerity and speaking with concern. "I comforted you when you guys started to hate each other, but you never told me why or how it happened. We just wanna know so we can help, please, Tetsurou?"

Kuroo mumbled something inaudibly, but it was apparent that his voice was quivering and his body was shaking.

Kenma gently soothed him until he had calmed down, and he agreed to speak about what happened between the two.

"It started when we were in middle school..."

Daishou and I were best friends, aside from Kenma, but we were seemingly inseparable.

Overtime, I developed feelings for him. I grew pretty attached to him, and he grew pretty close to me. He seemed to be everything and the only thing I could ever dream of. He always seemed to look at me differently. He gave me a look that he gave no one else, this soft, kind, loving look that implied he wanted to be more then friends, and I was given hope.

He would always jokingly tease me, and I grew flustered so easily. That was when my feelings for him truly set in.
