XOXO The Slasher
I looked around our very large group; there was Perrie, Jesy, Leigh-Anne, and Jade the four members of Little Mix the fantastic girl band from the X Factor. Ashton and Max my friends from university who’d been dating for the past four months. Jay and Paris my good friends from my hometown, who were also dating, and had been for a year now. Lauryn, Lindsey, Baylee, and Shyanne my best friends in the entire world, we had met through our boyfriends, One Direction. Finally there were the five boys from that famous British-Irish boy band, standing right in front of me. We’d all decided to get together for Halloween this year, and we had finally returned to Ashton’s apartment, where we were about to something truly terrifying, we were going to play with Ouija board.
“Are you all sure we should do this?” I asked them all nervously. I really did not want to do this but there was also no way I was going to chicken out, there was not a chance.
“It’s alright love, we’ve all got each other.” Louis whispered to me and kissed my cheek, I smiled up at my boyfriend. I looked behind me to see the couple’s pair up while the Little Mix girls stood there awkwardly.
“So..urm..let’s do this.” Harry stuttered out, holding Shyanne’s hand. I nodded and pulled out the board and stared at it.
“Who’s going first?” I asked them all looking around, everyone shuttered away from the board but I threw the piece that was used to spell out words to Max. “Your idea you go first.”
“Why don’t we just all put our hands’ on it?” He asked and I groaned but nodded, we all looked each other as we put a single hand on the game piece, “Spirits can you hear us?” Max asked looking around at all of us. Slowly the piece moved to the corner that said ‘Yes’, my eyes widened and I looked around.
“Who moved it?” I asked the group and they all shook their heads no. I looked back at the board and shuttered, this was unnatural it wasn’t supposed to happen. “I’m done.” I said and took my hand off the piece, immediately feeling calm after getting away from it.
“Alright, let’s play ‘Ask A Question’ instead, is that okay Air?” Louis asked me and I nodded at him while making a face, he had completely just made that up.
“Okay then! Air what is your favorite thing to do?” Lou asked me, I smiled he knew this but I would answer anyway.
“I used to ballet dance before my mom was killed.” I told the group and they all nodded already knowing the horrible story of how my mother had been killed by a road rage shooting. “Shyanne, who’s your favorite singer?”
“The Wanted of course.” She said winking at me, Harry and Louis glared at her.
“Shy that’s just mean; we all know you love One Direction.” Harry said knitting his eyebrows together and frowning, she laughed and patted his cheek. The game went on, and I barely paid attention, until I looked behind us and nearly screamed. There on the table was the Ouija board but the piece was still moving, my eyes widened and I jumped up.
“What’s the matter?” Niall asked me, helping Lauryn up off the ground with him. I lifted my finger towards the Ouija Board and Paris let out a shrill scream. I looked around to see everyone with their eyes locked on the haunted board. I walked over to it to read what it was saying,
