Chapter Four

Vanessa's POV

Finally it was Friday, I was just happy that this week was over. Now I have to think of the party Lex is forcing me to. My phone phone rang interrupting me from my thoughts. I picked not bothering you check the caller ID

"Are you going for Ethan's party tonight?" I heard Alec's voice

"Hello to you too" I said rolling my eyes

"Sorry hi, are you going to Ethan's party?" He asked again

"Why are you asking?" I replied his question with one of mine

"A question doesn't answer a question babe"

"Answer mine first, then I'll answer yours" I offered a deal.

"I asked first, this isn't fair" he whined. After I didn't say anything he sighed. "Okay, I want to know if I'm going or not" he added

"If I am?" I asked sitting on the couch.

"I'll go" he replied.

"Well, I'm not going" I lied.

"You are. Alexa mentioned it at lunch today". He said making me roll my eyes. Yes that's right, we've all been having lunch together for the past one week.

"If you know then why'd you call?" I asked him.

"Don't sound like you aren't happy to hear my voice" I could technically hear his smirk

"Jeez Alec, I'm not. I just escaped you in school." I replied

"Keep telling yourself that"

"You're losing it"

"I know, see you at the party tonight" he said.

"Bye"I said smiling, before ending the call.

We'd gotten closer this week. Not closer persay, but at least he's close to being a friend. They all are, the gang. I opened the door after hearing the doorbell ring. Alexa strutted inside like she owned the place.

"You know what today is right?" She asked as soon as she stepped inside.

"Yes, it's Friday" I replied knowing fully well what she was asking me.

"And we're going to Ethan's party. C'mon don't tell me you're backing out at last minute" she said, looking at me like she was daring me.

"No, I'm not backing out. Calm your tits" I really wasn't in the mood to argue.

"Good, I'm hungry" she said as she sat down on the couch.

"Eat me" I replied holding out my arm. Before I could move she bit my arm.

"Fuck, you're a dog Lex" I said rubbing my arm. A bruise was already forming.

"What?. I told you I was hungry and all you could say was 'eat me'. You know I always do what I'm asked." She said in her most childish voice, looking at me with her puppy dog eyes. Not today Lex.

"Fuck you, you know everywhere in this god-damned house" I said

"I'm sorry" she still used the same tone and eyes. Well fuck, I'm also hungry

"Come on, let's go make something to eat" I said taking her hands.

I came out of the shower with my towel around my chest. I didn't know the kind of underwear to put on because I even know what Alexa was going to make me wear.

"I'm really confused on what to wear Lex" I complained sitting on my bed.

"How won't you know what to wear? Your mom is one of the biggest names in the fashion industry for crying the fuck out loud" she said putting on some underwear. I mean she wasn't lying, my mom did own a fashion house and gives both of us clothes randomly.
