Something to take our minds off this Covid-19 Pandemic. Be Safe and Enjoy!!

Arnav watched his sister dragging Khushi in a trance. His mind was occupied with what had just happened now. However his feet soon found direction and he hauled himself to his safe haven, his bedroom and sank on the comfy bed.

Trust Khushi to put him in such a predicament as if he had no enough troubles already. His wife was such an innocent who can blubber something without knowing the impact of her innocent words. Did he just say innocent? Well not so innocent considering she had been trying to seduce him to agree with her howbeit so innocently—that word again innocent— with those little touches and battling eye lids.

Mrs. KSR had asked him so loudly in front of the whole family if he could forgo his meeting the reason being she wanted him to help her finalize the entrapment of Shyam as tomorrow was the D-day. That reason of course is not the one she gave to Raizada's nor was it the one which had rendered him into this situation. Rather her exaggerated explanation to the family as to why he should not attend the meeting is what got him thinking.

Thanks to her talkative nature, Khushi always managed to get her so silent husband out of tricky situations but at the same time puts them in one or more troubles. Khushi is such a girl who can save you from a sinking ship and bring you to an isolated island without a way to an offshore. Just like now she had managed to keep their secret EVICT SHYAM MANOHAH JHA intact and left poor ASR on a guilt trip.

"On this day, Arnavji and I went on a date for the first time."

What a beautiful lie she had told with her jovial spirit and it had kicked him in the face. To think of it, the great ASR had never put an effort to take his wife on a date. Could it be she said that because that's what her heart yearned for? It is often said that out of the abundancy of the heart the mouth speaks. Of course dumb husband, she is your wife and which wife wouldn't want to be treated special once in a while? His mind chided. Even his wife was a step ahead on this department. Once upon a time she had took him out for a date just before their remarriage to prove him that if he can be Khushi then she too can be Arnav. She had taken him to his favorite Italian restaurant.

The thought itself brought a smile to his face as he remembered the drama that had followed. She was a drama queen no doubt about that. Poor Mrs. ASR had mixed the reservation dates and decided to come a day earlier and that can be expected only from Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada. With her sweet talk and the love of Lucknow, she had managed to get a table from the host at the entrance. Being the gentleman he was, he had pulled a chair for his dear wife and the "new Arnav" chose to do the same and pulled him a chair too. Poor Khushi wanted to impress her hubby by opening the champagne bottle and the cork hit a fellow patron's eye glasses and fell into his bowl of soup. At the end of the night, it had been a date to remember, a day he will never forget. As he continued to wallow in the thoughts of that night, he also remembered the part where she ordered food using numbers on the menu list because she couldn't pronounce the Italian names. However his smile soon wiped off. That though evoked something else.

"Arnav ji ordered me all my favorite dishes from Delhi chat, Hyderabad's biryani, Agra's petha and Kolkata's rasgula and when he came to drop me in the evening, he gifted me a beautiful sari."

Not once did he take her out to her favorite diner or restaurant and ordered her favorite food. He had no clue of her favorite food except for jalebis and dried chickpeas, no idea of her favorite eatery be it the cheapest on the whole planet. Gosh what kind of a husband was he? And here she was running around and stressing trying to come up with ways to save his sister from a horrible husband. If it was someone, she wouldn't be caring this much because this same husband-wife duo had almost cost her love and marriage but no, his Khushi was pure, loving and forgiving. She deserves much, much more than he was giving her.
