Part 5

Sonakshi felt everything crashing down. The roof atop her, her life, her heart and her hops everything crashed into ashes and fell down over her. She trusted the man standing infront of her than anything, than herself. So what he is now telling, she couldn't bear it.
Rohit stared at sonakshi's face with a broken heart. Who played this story so well without any notice of them both. Now he had nothing in his hands. He felt like the biggest sinner in the whole wide world.
Sonakshi came closer to him and held him to her. Rohit felt tears flowing down his cheeks.
"Pata hein tume? Sab se zyaada pyaar mein tume kar rahi thi....pata hein rohit?"
"Pata hein..." he sobbed.
"Lekin wo sab.... jo tum ne kiya taa. Wo sab joot thaa? I mean wo proposal?" Sonakshi was finding it difficult.
"Please let me clear it once sonakshi...."
"Ye badla....kya ta? Kis janam ka badla le raha hoon aap mujhse.... haaa? Kya badla hein jiske baare mein tum is recording mein bataya ta..."
"Sonakshi wo jo accident ta...chaar saal pehele...raima ki saat.... uski footage mila mujhe aur us video pe tum thi. Eise lag raha tha tum drive kar...."
"Wo raima thi? Raima se takkar hua hamari gaadi.... par wo mein...."
"Haa haa pata hein mujhe...tum ne nahi kiya sonakshi pata hein mujhe lekin kuch aisa hua ki mujhe laga....."
"To tume yuhi laga ki mein neh hit and run kiya raima ki aur tum uski badla lene aaya? Pyaar ka jhoota natak karke? Shadi ki natak kiya tum ne? Kyun rohit...."
"Sonakshi sit down and let me explain i beg you.... you are not getting it clearly please son...."
"No rohit wait. To ye sab.... us proposal nakhli thi... shadi aaj ke tareek karna tumara plan tha...us sab.... wo.... jaan.... mujhe jaan bulaya tha aap... wo bhi nakhli.... sab sab joot...those nights of talking... all the messages... meri baare mein...tum...tumare baare mein... wo sab jhoot tha...we kissed.... we cuddled.... you slept on my lap....kya actor nikhla tum to Rohit sippy.... kya actor nikhla...."
"Sonakshi eise nahi hein.... maanti hoon ki recording pe jisne baat karta tha wo mein hi hoon....lekin wo sab i was not acting sonakshi.... please...." she didn't let him finish. She pulled him away by hitting him continuously. He got pushed behind as she advanced to him while pushing him and screaming.
"Acting nahi to aur kya taa rohit sippy....are you not ashamed to call yourself a doctor.... are you behind my life to destroy it.... aur aur kya plan kiya batao... if i didn't get this audio clip today then what? You would not come to the mandap? Or were you going to reject me at the mandap? Or were you going to marry me and sleep with me and dump me the next? After my use is over...."
Rohit grabbed her from the shoulders and leaned her to the nearby wall... and he shook her hard.
"Shut up sonakshi....how on earth can you talk so lowly about yourself....can you imagine i will ever do that with you? Can you? "
"Jo ye sab aapne aaj tak kiya tha naa chup ke se... wo bhi mera imagination se bohot zyaada bahar thi rohit sippy....to ye sab, aap, aapki baatein, aapki waadein, aapki hugs, touch and kisses, sab jhoot hein...aapki pyaar bhi jhoot hein...." he pinned her to the wall tightly....
"Mera pyaar jhoot nahi tha sonakshi. Nahi hein mera pyaar jhoot....i love you than anything in my whole life. I didn't realise it till date...but now i know sonakshi, pyaar tumse karta ta, ab karta hoon aur marte dum tak karunga...sonakshi please....i love you so damn much... please...." he leaned his forehead on hers and started crying. His tears rolled down her cheek in their proximity.
"Tumhari muun sei ye lafzon achcha nahi lagta doctor rohit sippy... oh i am sorry, surgeon rohit sippy...i think i never matched your standards right? What is she, just an actress. Ek baar dil toota toh kya hoga...easily koi aur marad ko doodlengi hein naa... haa? Mein ek cheap aurat hoon naa... hein naa..."
"Sonakshi i told you to shut up once before....kya bolti jaa raha hoon tum....tumare baare mein eisa mein kabhi nahi soch sakta....samje..."
"Rohit ye pyaar hein naa, mein ne puri dil se nibhayi...all those rasams, mein ne puri dil se nibhayi.... mujhe kabhi nahi laga tum mere saat eise karne waala tha... you would have laughed at me so much seeing me head over heels in love hein naa... jaan jaan keheke pukaara taa mujhe tum, jaan ke saat ese karta hein tum ? Haa? Aage se agar mein zingda rohoongi, marte dam tak i will hate that word jaan, do you get it!!!!! its better if you killed me rohit... kyun nahi maar diya mujhe... itna badla chahiye taa toh seeda maar diya hota mujhe....kyun rohit kyun....batao kyun...." she hit and hit and hit his chest asking the same question. Rohit bursted into tears unable to talk.
"Chale jaao rohit...."
"No sonakshi....don't do this to me.... please..."
"Rohit.... aakri baar bol raha hoon mein... please chale jaao... nikhal jaayie meri zindagi se. you have killed me alive rohit. Please..."
"Sonakshi i cannot live without you...."
"Kya chahiye tume rohit.... do you want me to die so that you can set fire to my chitak? Haa? Us pal ka intezaar hein tume ab?"
"Sona. Do not do this to me. Do not do this to you. Do not do this to us.mein marjaaongi tumari bina... please...." it was the first time he called her sona. It came whole heartedly. He felt is entire soul is on fire. He was dying.
"Ok so you are not going to listen....fine jo tume teel lage... mein yahaan ek minute bhi nahi rehe sakta." Sonakshi pulled him aside and went and thud opened the door. The whole family stared at them in a shock, also was there the sippy family who followed rohit when he stormed out of the house in dismay. Rohit ran behind her before she leaves.
"Mumma, aunty...mera aur rohit ka rishta khatam hui. Koi shaadi nahi honga. Everything is over." Sonakshi said looking at rohit.
"Baake sab aapko rohit ne khud batayega...." she finished. And left. Rohit ran behind her but the two families came the mid way asking all sorts of questions in so much torment. He struggled and screamed out for her name, but once he got through the crowd and ran to the elevator, she was already gone. Very far from him.

"What are you saying sona? Have you gone mad. You are breaking your marriage. Leaving rohit. And then leaving the show what the hell are you doing?" Nethra asked in an utter dismay.
While all this was going on rohit was outside, searching for sonakshi. He felt himself going crazy and his mind was in astray. He repeated tried calling everyone they knew. And of course he didn't forget to try nethra's number. And it too came switched off.
"Mujhse aur kuch mat poochiye nethra ji....please..."
"No mein poochunga. Haq hein mera. I am your friend. You are like my family. You work with me so i have all the right to ask.rohit neh bohot badi bhool kiya i admit. Iska matlab ye nahin ke tum tumara serial chod lu....din raat mehenat karke ye naam banayi tum...career settle karchuki hoon tu tumari... what are you doing now?"
"Ye lo my papers. Sign bhi kiya hein mein neh..."
"Sonakshi don't be stupid. I am not going to accept it. And you already know that you have to serve a period of contract months after putting down the papers...."
"I don't care nethra ji. Mujhse kuch nahi chahiye. Naa stardom. Naa career... naa zindagi... nahi aur kuch bhi..."
Nethra shut her eyes. She hated being rude to the friend she loved the most. But she had to somehow stop her from being a fool.
"You will have to pay if you walk out of the contract sonakshi. This is no joke."
Sonakshi took out a paper and started writing something.
"Ab mein iss paper par sign karchuki hoon. Either you need my house, my money or my whole property i really don't care. Get whatever you want written on this blank sheet, you have my sign. Jahaatak show ki concern hein, already the accident scenes have been shot so just kill off my character or may be find a replacement.... "
"Sonakshi rastogi. Ye koi serial nahi hein tum tumari zindagi khudi barbaad kar rahi hoon... sonakshi... sonakshi..."
she screamed behind calling sonakshi who was leaving her door.and at the door sonakshi turned back,
"Barbaad karne keliye zindagi ab aur nahi bachaa nethra ji."
Then she shut the door behind her.

Sonakshi came out of the apartment of nethra. She didn't know what to do anymore. She was detached of the man whom she thought as her everything. He has brutally stomped over her heart and crushed it into pieces. She was imagining a life with him and sharing everything with him, and he now left her with nothing to live and nothing to share. She was lost and she had no idea what she would do now. Amidst the pouring rain she aimlessly walked. His hugs, their first kiss, the cuddles, their small chats, pecks, touches, discussions, stupid arguements flashed in front of her eyes. How mockery the life was, she has acted this such innumerous scenes infront of camera doing heartbreak scenes, but now she knew how terribly severe such a heartbreak was. what happened with karan four years ago is nothing compared to this, and heck it is on the same day as today. Does she deserve nothing in life? Does she not deserve the warmth and the love of rohit sippy?
Her walk came to a halt with a bright headlight blinding her eyes.she tried to see who it was but couldn't. Soon the vehicle stopped, and then some people got down from it and came infront of sonakshi.
"Namaste sonakshi madam ji!!!" A sarcastic laugh followed.
"Mhatre?"
"Kuch badla lene keliye perfect times zindagi khud lekar aata hein madam..."
Sonakshi was not interested in any arguments. She chose to walk away.
"Bohot upar chali gayi thi aap....Ab mein wahi karunga jisse aap wapas zameen par aayenge, aur zameen se che feet neeche jayenge aur uske baad zeeda upar, bilkul jese aap hamesha chathi thi...."
Sonakshi turned back fully towards mhatre and there after..................it went black.

Sippy family was shocked and veena was lost at words about what happned. They have finally got to know what rohit did to sonakshi. Suman rastogi bashed at them and none of the sippys said anything. Not even nishi. They were utterly ashamed of what happened. This was no joke, their son, the eldest doing some unacceptable thing such with a girl's life was making them go all horrified. And rohan, ajit and akash were trying all their contacts to trace where sonakshi is.
The phone at sonakshi's house started ringing, making everyone of both families go into fear. Some unknown scare engulfed them all. No one dared to go answer the call but however suman answered the phone. And after a while the receiver fall off her hand.

Rohit entered his cabin. He had nowhere else to go. He cannot definitely go home without finding sonakshi. And he had turned everywhere upside down possible to trace her but there was no luck at all. Distressed, he came to the hospital and came to his cabin, where they finally met before this unfortunate day dawned.
He saw her coming towards her smiling. How they cuddled, how they talked, how he used to kiss her, hide himself among her hair and everything. He felt so empty. This was the exact feeling he got when he saw that nightmare about sonakshi. His heart raced fast and he feared that he will never ever be able to find her. She bid him a farewell of such sort that their togetherness will be never be possible ever in life again.
He sat on his seat and started crying. He started crying like a child who lost his favourite toy. He felt tears rolling down the cheeks. He sobbed remembering her and their times again and again. He didn't know where else he can go find her. He felt so scared at once and next moment he knew he would die of this pain probably.
"Rohit sir" tulsi entered.
"Jo bhi hein Dr. dimpy se poochlo." Rohit said in a stern voice he acheived with so much of difficulty.
"Rohit sir. Wo.... wo.mein....."
"Tulsi mein ne kahaa thaa..."
"Sonakshi madam ko lekar aaya hein sir..."
"Sonakshi. Sonakshi aaya? Kahan? Yaha kyun nahi aayi hein wo...." he stood up with so much hope. He looked at tulsi's teary face and tried to reregister what she just said.
"Lekar aaya matlab. What do you mean tulsi?" He asked as his heart almost stopped.
"Kissi ne goli maardiya sonakshi madam ko sir..."
And rohit's heart stopped beating indeed.

He didn't know how he reached the ET and he didn't know how he reached where sonakshi's body was kept. The ET oncall doctors were getting the machines ready to connect to her.and the two families already surrounded her.
He felt all the possible senses he hardly preserved too leaving his body. He hugged her lifeless body. Just as in the dream, her face was pale and blood dropped out of her nose and mouth. Her body was drenched in blood and the oozing blood wetted rohit's clothes and then the body as well. This was the exact dream he saw coming true in a worst form of it.
"There are multiple gunshots in the chest and the abdomen, already a huge bloodloss and we cannot trace her pulse....simmi call up the immediate available gastro surgeon for the abdomen part and and get down the anesthesist to ready the theatre" he heard as if in a dream the doctor's discussing.
"Sona.... sona please aakhen kolo. Tum mujhe iss tarha chod kar nahi jaa sakta. Aur tume mein kahi jaane nahi doonga....please sona tum jeeyengi. Tum kahi nahi jaayengi please..." he started to scream and cry.
Suddenly he was pulled away by a hand and he got pulled up because of the force.
The next moment a loud slap rang across and rohit held his cheek and looked at her. Veena sippy, stared at him with so much of anger and hate.
"Usko chuna mat tum. Kabardar meri bahu ko haat bhi lagayaa toh.... tumara koi haq nahi banta...."
She said pointing her finger at him.
"Mom please, please not now. She needs me. I cannot leave her mom. Mein marjaaungi uski bina mom. Let me go to sonakshi.... please mom please....."
"Tum nahi marjaunga, tera wajeise meri bahu maut se lad rahi hoon. Rohit tum kabhi kisi ka pyaar ki laayk nahi hein shaayad. Laayak bhi kese honga jab tumhari andhar hi andhar itna poison toh chupa hein...."
"Mom. Eisa nahi bolona mom....mein rahi nahi saktha uski bina. Sonakshi se mein bohot pyaar karti hoon mom. Iss duniya ki kissise mein utna pyaar nahi karchuke hoon... please mujhe uski paas jaane dona mom.... i promise mein kabhi uska dil nahi thodunga..."
"I cannot believe you are my son. I am ashamed rohit i am ashamed. You have made a mockery out of all the relationships we built. You ruined everything rohit. Everything. Wo tumarhe wajeise mar rahi hoon.... ye sab tumhari wajeise hochuka hein... sab tumahari wajeise...."
Veena screamed.
"Doctor rohit, sonakshi ji ki surgery keliye cardio thorasic surgeon bhi chahiya. Aapko aana hoga...." dr. Dimpy said coming there.
"Dr. Dimpy please bring some other from elsewhere. I do not trust Dr sippy doing my bahu's surgery....kya pata operation table pe kuch karenge ye...."
"Mom mujhe jaane do. Please please mujhe jaane do, sonakshi ko bachaane ke liye mera saroorat hein waha.... mein kar sakta hoon, mein bacha sakta hoon. Kahi nahi jaane dunga mein usse..."
"Raima ki saat pata kya hua? Tum wapas wo hi karunga mujhe pata hein..."
"Mom please, mere paas wakt nahi hein. Please mujhe jaane do mom. Please please. Please mom please. Mein nahi rehe sakta uski bina... sonakshi... sonakshi..."
He started crying like a little child.
"Veena please. Ab aur nahi. Kam se kam iss wakt nahi. Ok...." naren took veena away. Suman rastogi was in a shock and was unable to speak at least a word. Sukhmani sippy sat down in a corner and tears flew down her eyes.
Rohit ran to the theatre where sonakshi was taken.

Dr. Rohit sippy came out clad in his scrubs. He entered his theatre wearing his mask. Tears yet flew down continuously from his eyes wetting his scrubs but his face was lacking any motion otherwise. His looked expressionless and pale and he felt dead while he was yet alive. Everyone was ready and he looked at the clock, and it was raining heavily outside.
Years back when he started raima's surgery it was around the same time and it rained similarly outside. He had so much of pain in the heart back then and now years later the pain he was going through is multiple times more than this.
This will either make them both live or this will either make them both die.
He will not stop till he brings her back to the life.
Sonakshi rastogi should be alive, and I rohit sippy will make her live somehow.
His heart sank when seeing her on the operation table,it is the most unwanted place he wanted to see her on ever. But he himself is the one who brought her here. So its him, who has to take her back and away from here.
Sona, you got to come back. You got to come back to life. You got to come back to me. You have to come back and bring my life back to me.
