GUNS AND ROSES [NAMJIN]

Taehyung, Yoongi and Hoseok ran to the hospital after they got a call from Namjoon that he was there. Their first thought was that something had happened to Namjoon. But he assured that he was good. When they reached the hospital, they saw Seokjin comforting him. They went to him and looked at him in a questioning gaze. Taehyung was first to speak, "What happened?"

Namjoon looked up. His eyes were swollen due to crying and his hair was messy. He didn't have his coat or tie on. He was about to answer when a doctor came out of the operation theatre. Seokjin and Namjoon stood up and looked at the doctor. The doctor looked at Seokjin and bowed to him, "Doctor Kim, is he your relative."

Seokjin shook his head. Namjoon spoke to the doctor, "He is my father." Taehyung gasped and looked at Namjoon with a trembling gaze, ready to cry as soon as he let go.

The doctor nodded, "He will be fine. The impact of the hit was not harsh. But he has a bruised rib and a hairline fracture in his right hand. You can meet him."

Namjoon nodded and bowed to the doctor, "Thank you very much. And don't tell him his son brought him here, please." The doctor nodded and went away.

When he looked at the other three, there were three different reactions. Yoongi was worried, Taehyung looked terrified and Hoseok was confused as well as worried. Namjoon felt a hand slip in his hand. He knew it was Seokjin so he clutched it tightly. He looked at Seokjin who nodded. Namjoon nodded back and looked at the three males, "Let's talk in the cafeteria."

In the cafeteria, Namjoon sat near Seokjin who was holding his hand all the time. Yoongi sat in front of him with Taehyung by his side and Hoseok beside Taehyung, giving him the emotional support. Namjoon sighed, "When I was coming back from the cafe, I saw an accident and when I went there, I saw him." His voice shivered. Seokjin rubbed his back with his free hand giving him the energy to speak. Namjoon continued, "I froze there for some seconds, but then something happened and I took him here and pleaded Jin hyung to help."

Taehyung's eyes were watery, "Why would you save him?" Everyone was shocked at Taehyung's sentence. "You should have left him there to die. After what he did to us, to you, you still saved him? Why?"

Namjoon was shocked the most, "What do you mean why did I save him? He is our father."

Taehyung scoffed, "He was our father before he hit you. As soon as he started doing those things to you, he was dead to me. Why would you save him?"

Namjoon shook his head, "Whatever he did, he did it to me. You don't get the right to judge him. I saved him because of humanity."

Taehyung looked at him in betrayal, "I can't believe you are defending him. I was the one who was with you to sooth you. He was beating you and you are fighting with me to defend him?"

Namjoon rolled his eyes, "Yes, he was beating me. So what? He is still our father."

Taehyung hit his fist on the table and almost shouted, "He is not! I don't understand why you are defending him?"

Namjoon rolled his eyes and looked dead in Taehyung's eyes with anger, "Because I couldn't see him bleeding and dying in front of my eyes. You believe it or not, he is our father. And I saved him. So what?"

Seokjin held his shoulder and pressed it delicately, "Joon-ah."

Namjoon sighed and tried to apologize to Taehyung, but it was too late. He had left already. Namjoon grunted in frustration, "I messed up."

Seokjin hugged him and started to comb his hair and looked at Hoseok, who had already started to go after Taehyung. "It's okay, Joonie. It's not your fault." He looked at Yoongi and nodded. Yoongi took the hint and went to buy coffee for Namjoon.
