Xyrene’s P.O.V.
“Ok guys! 5 minutes break!” Mr Aragon yelled. He is the head and the one who supervise our pictorial for the upcoming summer issue of the company’s magazine she is currently in contract with.
“Tired?” Howard suddenly popped out from nowhere giving me a bottle of Gatorade.
I gladly accept it and drink.
“So Mr Li, di ka ata busy at napadpad ka dito sa pictorial ko” puna ko sa kaniya.
The guy just focused his eyes on her which seems like memorizing every inch of her lovely face then smiled blissfully.
“You know I always have time for you honey” he answered.
“Oh please Arix, I know what you’re up to. Now speak” I stated in a bored tone. I hear him laugh.
Napatulala ako sa kaniya. He never smile neither laugh with anyone but me. He is always cold to every time.
Howard Phoenix Li, or Arix as I called him, has been her best friend since child. They grew up together and been classmates since then. Almost all students in their school thinks they’re already in a relationship but heck no! He can’t see him as a person he would be with forever. Not in a romantic way at least.
Nagtataka kayo kung bakit when in fact he can make a perfect boyfriend material for me? Well let me tell you a little secret that even Arix didn’t have any idea about.
Flashback 13 years ago…
“Mom! Dad! I want to go to the park today! Pretty please?” I plead with my puppy eyes. They always give me what I want that’s why I love my parents so much.
“Alright sweetie but let’s wait for a bit. Mom and Dad needs to wait for someone, okay? Play ka muna doon sa garden. I’ll call you later when it’s time to go na” Dad replied me with a smile.
I immediately hugged Dad in delight. At last! Matagal na niyang gustong mamasyal sa labas. Never pa kasi siyang nakagala with her parents because everytime she asked them to go out and play palagi itong busy sa work.
At first I was so mad at them because I felt that they don’t want to be with me anymore but later realized that maybe they’re just plain busy and maybe tired as well so she didn’t insisted on it to them anymore.
Today is Sunday and himala coz her parents didn’t went to their office that’s why she asked them to go.
I went to our garden with my Teddy Bear on my arms hugging it and sit on the swing under the tree, which I don’t know what the name is, and started swaying it back and forth.
