Malice In Wonderland

Chapter 2

Hello my lovelies c: I know it's been a while since I updated and I'm sorry. Forgive me? No? Okay...I understand *cries in corner*

-27 minutes later-

Well now that that's over with here is the second chapter of Malice In Wonderland. Enjoy.

I watched curiously as the black rabbit hopped farther and farther into the woods, tempting me along with it. I followed in pursuit while the black rabbit continued going deeper into the woods until it stopped suddenly in front of a tall, dark tree. I turned around and realized that the bonfire site was nowhere to be seen. When I looked back at the rabbit it was already half-way down a hole located at the base of the ominous tree. "Hey! Wait up!" I yelled after the creature and ran over to where it had disappeared. I peered down into the hole. Hmm I could probably fit in it since I was quite lanky.

Skillfully I jumped in and prepared myself for the impact of the ground, but it never came. That's strange, I should of hit the bottom by now. I opened my eyes, not realizing I had them closed, but it made no difference. I was surrounded by darkness. Am I even falling? I stretched out my arm and sure enough it was pushed upwards by a gust of wind. I was definitely falling. So...this is the death of Ace Regina? Letting his curiosity get the better of him and falling into a never-ending hole? For some reason when I decided this would be my death, I wasn't scared. Instead I closed my eyes, and concentrated on the wind blowing through my hair.

Why was I so calm? I guess the thought of death just didn't scare me. The wind rushed past me as I continued to free-fall to my doom. I just peacefully plummeted down farther into the darkness. My body turned to where I was now falling head first, but still I wasn't scared. I knew I would die either way I fell. After what had to be two minutes of falling I had this strange feeling, a feeling of eyes watching me. I slowly opened mine to realize I was siting safely on the ground. H-how? I-I was just falling! Just a second before I had felt the wind in my hair! Th-that's impossible!

I slowly stood up and took in my surroundings. Where am I? I looked up, the way I had fallen from, and seen no light at all. The sound of footsteps behind me had me frozen in horror. I guess this really will be where I die. In some unknown place surrounded by darkness. The footsteps neared and I began to panic. "Hello there pretty boy" a voice whispered in my ear, malice dripping off of his tongue, sending shivers down my spine. A loud swooshing noise went through the air and I was out cold.

-later that day-

Once again I was surrounded by darkness. But this time it was from a blindfold tightly tied around my eyes. Damn my head hurts. I attempted to pull my hand up to my pounding headache but both of my hands were bound behind my back. Actually, my whole body was bound to a cold metal chair. I attempted to scream for help but all that came out was a muffled cry, the damn gag was preventing my helpless pleas for rescue. I attempted to struggle against the binds, but it did no good.

The silence if the room was killing me. The silence gave me no clue as to where I was, or if someone was here with me.Silence. Silence was all I had. Nobody would hear me scream so there was no point in doing so. Nobody would see me struggle besides the silence. Silence would be the death of me......or maybe not.

A soft ticking came from somewhere near. A soft ticking that you would hear from a clock. My heart kept pace with the faint ticking until the ticking stopped, and instead was replaced with the same deadly voice I heard earlier.

"I see you're awake now. Now is where the fun begins."

The clock began to tick again, this time much faster.

"You have until this clock stops ticking to escape. If you can't accomplish this then I get my way with you."

Heavy footsteps were followed by a door slamming closed. Once again I was by myself, but this time silence really would be the death of me.
