A Midnight To Remember

New girl in the town

CHAPTER 1

I just recently shifted to a new apartment which was on the elm street.I lived near a famous coffee shop which was quite old but their coffee was worth dying for. I rented an apartment on 13th floor and i was living in flat no. 1301. There was 6 flats on my floor and only two were rented besides my house - 1305 and 1303. As the buiding was new not many people had rented it and it felt deserted . I haven't met the people on my floor yet but I am excited to meet them.

Today ,while shifting the furniture I ran into the the watchman and inquried him about the families living on my floor . He told that in 1303 a family of four is living and in 1305 an uncanny man was living.

I lived in a studio apartment close to my university . My parents lived on the other side of the city which would take approximately 2 hours to reach.

Everything was perfectly fine . The surrounding was active and delightful and in the morning the sun rays would enter my room and it would be very cozy but at night the surrounding felt oddly dull. Now that I finally feel settled , I feel relaxed and comfortable and yesterday I even met the miller family who lives in the 1303 . They are a very nice family , Mr Miller is a business man and goes on alot of buisness trips and Mrs Miller is a housewife . She was a very sweet and kind person . Her daughter is my age and is equally a sweet person and on top of that she is very open minded and friendly , looking at her , it felt like we were destined to meet and i have a feeling that we are going to become really good friends . Her name is Hazel miller and has a twin brother , Beck Miller . He is also an open minded person but witty at the same time.

Our conversation went like this :
Hazel : "Hi! it seems like you are new in the building . My name is Hazel ,whats yours?"

Amelia :"Hi myself Amelia , you can also call me Mia."

Hazel :"Do you need any help with your furniture, if yes, Hazel Miller is at your service "

( Beck walks out from the lift )

Beck :"Hey idiot what are you doing out here in the corridor''

Hazel :"Nothing dumbo i am just talking to Amelia , Oh yeah! by the way Amelia meet my twin Beck and Beck this is Amelia "

Beck :"Hiya mate ! Its me beck "

Amelia :"Ola amigo , its me Amelia aka Mia "

Hazel :"Which University do you go to? "

Amelia : "Winchester's United University "

Beck and Hazel together :"WOW! really!!! we go to the same university "

Beck :"Hey you copied my line "

Hazel :"Excuse me mister you copied my line "

Amelia :"Guys you forgot that your twins "

Beck :"Ya but she is 5 minutes younger than me okay"

Hazel :"That doesn't matter you moron "

Amelia :"Guys stop it . Its good to know that we are going to the same university , now can you show me around the university?"

Hazel :"ya why not ! I am so excited to introduce you to my friends"

Mrs Miller :"Hazel dump the trash in the bin please "

Hazel :"ughhhhh!!! Okay mom coming . Bye Mia I'll see tommorow "

Amellia :"Don't forget , you have to be my tour guide "

Hazel :"ya i remember"

Beck :"See you later alligator "

Amelia :"LOL ! okay bye"

The next day was the first of my university .At about 7 in the morning I heard the bell ring it was Hazel and Beck all ready to go . I changed quickly and joined them .
We all headed towards the university . The place was not bad , it was actually very good . It was huge and I am sure there were more than million people over there . Hazel gave me tour of the whole university and then we got to know that we had our first class same ,Hazel got so excited because all their friends were in that class .

We entered the class and there it was a group of people whom i didn't know but had a gut feeling that in future we are going to be bestfriends.

Hazel :"Hey guys ! wassup! meet the new group member ,Amelia (in a whispering voice ) what's your full name again ?"

Amelia :"Carter , I am Amelia Carter"

Hazel :"Amelia meet my friends."

Beck :"Hey i'm back "

Hazel :"Not you Beck she already knows you "

Scralet :"Hi ! I am Scarlet , in short you can call me Scar ''

Amelia :"Hi ! I am Amelia you'll can call me Mia "

Daniel :"Yo! Daniel Smith here. Nice to meet you Mia "

Amelia :"Yo bro ! nice to meet ya too"

Daniel :"Damn ! Welcome to our group your just our type "

Andrew :"Welcome to the group of idiots , you've just made a right choice joining our group and Hi ! myself Andrew Roberts you can call me Andy "

Jade :"Hi!! So you are our new group member by the way i am Jade Kennedy''

Amelia :'' Wow ! You guys are something !! I mean wow !! Its really nice to meet you'll !

I mean I had a really good start , I got the best group of friends and it was just the starting of a great friendship , we all were becoming close day by day , week by week and month by month . We all had different classes but we took all the free time to get to know eachother . Lately there had been a spread of flu in the hostel area of our university and Scarlet was very irritated with the surrounding and complained to us all the time so I suggested her to rent an apartment in our building that way she will feel better and we can spend more time together . Scar thought it was a good idea and that she would ask her parents about it .

The next day Scarlet came to me and said that she had a surprise for me , Hazel and Beck but she was not going to tell us but she said that she is gonna be shiffting in 1302 which is a great news now we can spend more time together and have so much more fun . Well about the surprise I am excited and I am really waiting for her to spill it .
