A Midnight To Remember

BLOODY SLEEPOVER

CHAPTER 3

As I mentioned before we have many sleepovers and get together , we had a sleepover again but this wasn't an ordinary friends party , there was somrthing about that night which made it a sleepover or as I can say a midnight to remember.

Our whole building was now occupied partially but our floor was filled . Why I said partially, it was because there was something weird going on in our building . People were filling up but within two or three weeks of time, they would disappear completely and when we would ask the watchmen about this , he would say they left the appartment and shifted to some other place . We were not buying that story and still convinced that there was something off going on in our building.

Anyways, we were all gathered at Scarlet's house . We were enjoying and having fun , playing games, watching movies and we did many more things . We were having alot of fun but then suddenly we heard a continuous sound of doorbells from the other end of the corridor. We could understand that the sound was coming from Jenny and Lisa's house. It was very late at night.

At that time Jenny and Lisa got up and then they said that they would go check and come back and then they both left . We all thought that they both would come back very fast after checking . Which now that I think of was very stupid of us , instead of sitting there we should have gone with them but at that time we did not do that .

It had been over 30 minutes and they both didn't come back , even the corridor for some reason felt very oddly silent. After some time , Daniel and Beck told that they would go and check and come back. We all said that we can go together but Daniel and Beck refused and told us that we should stay and they will check and come .

Daniel and Beck went to the other side of the corridor and rang the doorbell of the sister's house. They rang the doorbell two or three times but there was no response. Daniel and Beck felt that someone watching them because when they turned back to look , they saw someone a door slightly opened and someone was peeking out of it. Yes, it was the creepy old man from the apartment 1305 , his apartment was right infront of the sister's house and he was watching them both.

Daniel and Beck felt very uneasy and they came back from there quickly , then they told us whatever they saw . We all were shocked as no one had ever seen that old man but this was the first time Daniel and Beck saw him . Although they could slightly see him but still they saw him. And at once we knew that there is something suspicious and fishy going on .

We all at once started discussing a plan to go in his house and check the place as we all thought that disappearing of the those two was somewhat related to the old man's house.

First, Andrew suggested that we should call the police. But then we did not have any evidence about this man , so we decided that once we will get even a little bit of evidence , we will call the police.

Second, Jade suggested that we should wait till morning and see what happens. But we did not agree on it as we were had to save our friends because they might be in trouble. And we were so curious to find out what that man was hiding .

Thirdly, Charlie suggested that we go and find out whatever is there in that house, when the old man was out and we had to take a video camera with us to record the whole evidence.

We all agreed to Charlie's idea and decided to take a video camera along with us . Now we all were waiting eagerly for the old man to go out for sometime . We waited and waited but we couldn't even hear a single buzz . We all were quite enough to hear a single footstep. So we were patient and waited. After sometime we all gave up on this and decided to call the police with or without evidence.

As we started dialing the number , to our surprise we heard turning of a door knob and footsteps approaching outside. Andrew quickly ran towards the keyhole and saw the old man pressing the lift button of the lift which was heading downwards. Andrew gave us a signal that we are ready to go.

So apparently our plan was that Scarlet and Andrew will stay at the house for a look out and if something goes wrong , they will be there. Daniel , Beck , Charlie, Hazel and me , we were all ready with small but very sharp and hurtful weapons. Me and Hazel had an axe with us and on the other hand Daniel had a shovel, Beck and Charlie had sticks with them. Jade was carrying a small knife with her because she was going to record the whole thing with the video camera as our evidence.

We all were ready with our weapons , and we were mentally prepared that there is going to be alot of danger in doing this, so we had to be very careful.

Andrew and Scarlet were also ready with some sticks as they were the back up for us , along with that they were ready with their cellphones in their hands.

Only Beck took his phone along with him so that if we get in any trouble , Beck can call Andrew immediately and Andrew and Scarlet can come help us.

We were ready now, it was as if we were some soldiers who were going to fight a war.
