"Long time no see, sister." After those words left his mouth, he slowly opened his arms for a hug and gave me a small smile which felt like he was reassuring me that we was real.

Without wasting another second, I jumped from the bench and threw myself into his arms. I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. I didn't want to let go, it felt like if I did then he would disappear into the air and I'd never see him again. I felt so much at this moment. Happiness, relief, sadness, and anger. All those feelings started to overwhelm me and I knew Kai could feel it so he hugged me tighter.

"It's okay, I'm not going to leave you." He reassured me and rubbed circles on my back. I buried my face into his shirt collar and nodded. 

Even though I nodded at his words, I still didn't want to loosen my grip on him. I was going to pull away from the hug when I felt someone join our hug. I removed my face from Kai's collar and looked at the person. It was Kris. He wrapped one arm around me and the other around my brother. 

"Don't mind me, just joining this beautiful moment." Kris said and continued to hug us. 

I didn't mind him joining the hug and giggled at his actions while my brother gave him a playful glare before breaking the hug which caused Kris to whine.

"Seriously? I just joined the hug while you two hugged for so long!" He dramatically threw his hands around while Kai paid no attention to him and turned to speak with me. I saw his face from happy to serious within seconds.

Oh no, what now?

"As happy as I am to see you're okay, I want to know what are you doing with a bunch of vampires?" He spoke softly but his face held all of the disgust his tone didn't express.

"I know it may look bad but I swear they're not evil. They actually gave me a place to stay, clothing, food, and now I get to study here. They all treat me well." I worded everything as carefully as I could to not anger him. 

I mean, we were separated and now that we're reunited he finds me hanging around vampires who are technically every werewolf's enemy for centuries. This isn't a good look for me and I know there's are a lot of bad vampires but these guys may be a few of the good ones out there. 

"We can't trust vampires, Y/n. You know this." Kai told me, crossing his arms over his chest while looking very displeased. 

Before I could say anything to that, Kris spoke up. 

"Kai is right. Vampires are bad."

"There are bad werewolves out there too, you know. Not all of us are good and not all vampires are bad." I defended them.

Kris didn't seem to believe me while Kai let out a sigh and let it go.

"As long as you're okay and they didn't hurt you, I'm good. Come on. We should go." Kai said walking towards me to take my hand and lead me out of school but I stepped back which caused him to look at me questioningly.

"Go where?" I said.

"You're not going to live with me?" He asked and I shook my head.

"I can't just leave like this, I live with the vampires now." I replied. 

"You can't be serious, I just got you back and you're the only family I have right now yet you're telling me that you live with the vampires?" He sounded extremely pissed by what I was saying but I couldn't just leave without notice like this. 

Sure they treat me well and all but from the beginning they did say I was going to live with them so they can make sure I keep their secret of being vampires. If I leave without them knowing, they could take it the wrong way. 

"Just give me some time to let them know I'll be leaving. I don't want them to get the wrong idea." I asked and he just looked at me with a blank face. He wasn't giving me an answer and that's when Kris decided to make the decision instead.

"You have until Friday and you better hurry cause we need to prepare ourselves." Kris said as he patted Kai on the shoulder to calm him down.

They turned around and were about to leave when I stopped them.

"Wait, what's happening on Friday?" 

Kai turned to me with a serious look on his face and said. 

"It's the blood moon."
