Charlotte laid back into Kayla's bed, scrolling through her phone. She finally clicked into instagram, and again, started scrolling.
On the other side of the room, Kayla was in front of her dresser putting on mascara.
Finally breaking the silence, Charlotte asked, "Have you been talking to anyone lately?" Kayla put down the mascara brush.
"Nope" she replied. "How about you?"
"Well I mean, we've only snapped a few times but-" Charlotte was cut off.
"Wait, who is 'we'? Am I missing something?" Kayla interrupted, obviously confused.
"Oh! Well at playlist last year I got Troy's number, and I guess things just happened from there." She explained while blushing.
Kayla just stood in shock. "You mean Troy... Zarba? He's like, the CEO of transitions!" she started to fangirl.
Charlotte sat up from the bed and squealed, "I know right! He's so cute, I just wish we could get to know each other better." Finishing her sentence with a sigh.
"Simp" Kayla whispered under her breath. Charlotte just rolled her eyes at the comment. Oh how she loved her best friend.
Char laid back down on her bed and opened her phone again. She went to click on twitter, but an interesting notification popped up on her screen.

Alyssa rushed to put on a decent outfit, and ran to her car. She drove through traffic into her best friend Ava's driveway. She had stayed up way too late last night on tiktok, and accidentally woke up at 1:00, 30 minutes after she had to babysit for Ava's newborn child, Thomas.
She practically flew up the stairs, and into the apartment building, to find Thomas, sleeping inside his crib, safe and sound.
thank god.
I took a sigh of relief and walked over to his crib, to see him napping peacefully. Poor thing, his mother's never here to care for him.
Lysa had been through the same thing, but somehow felt worse for the baby. She crouched down by the crib sitting down, and hid her head in her hands.
Letting out another long sigh, she stared at the floor. She was spacing out until she felt a buzz coming from her back pocket. She pulled her phone out from the back of her jeans.

She looked at her phone and quickly opened up the Email. She read the message, and finally smiled for the first time today. She was going to be part of the lights out tour"
Shocked, she giggled at her phone. "Maybe this week isn't as bad as I thought it would be."

Isabelle and Alex walked around the corner of the street and into the Starbucks. They ended up being the only people in line, it must not have been a busy day.
The two girls ordered and sat down at the table closest to them.
"So what have you been up to? I feel like we haven't seen each other in forever!" Said Alex.
"A lot has happened, hasn't it?" They both giggled.
"Like what? Alex asked. Isabelle started her explanation just as the cashier called their names. "Hold up, I'll go get those!" Muttered Alex.
Alex walked back to the table with the drinks. "Sorry about that, what are you gonna say?"
"Oh it's fine, basically the Sway house and the Hype house have been fighting over me." They laughed.
"Lucky!" Exclaimed Alex. "I really need to go to California."
"You really do! It's so fun there, you would love it. We should make plans-" Belle was interrupted from a buzz coming from both of their Phones.

"Lights out? Wasn't that during sum-" Alex finally put together the pieces.
"Isabelle, were gonna be on lights out! There's gonna be so many people there, and we're gonna get to travel everywhere, it's gonna be so FUN!" Alex started ranting.
"Did you even read the email Alex? We might not even be in- wait, you're right. ALEX WE'RE GONNA BE ON LIGHTS OUT!" Isabelle yelled.
I don't know about you, but that seems like a pretty good day.

Sarah sat on the couch, watching television, while her oldest sister, August made a few tiktoks in the kitchen. She was trying to master the dance "Savage" by Megan Thee Stallion.
After August finished dancing and got the perfect angle, she posted the video. Her phone started blowing up with likes. She decided to check her twitter. There wasn't really anything new, accept a few tweets from some of her friends and favorite celebrities.
August ran up to her room to go try to do something productive. She filmed a few tiktoks in her bedroom, and even posted some of them.
After that, she decided to film a Youtube video for her channel, as she hasn't posted in a month.
She scrolled through her recommended page, trying to look for something she could do. She decided to just go with a simple get ready with me video.
After she filmed the video, she took a nap. Then she started to scroll through instagram.
The first post she saw when she opened the app was from Chase Hudson. Now, she can't lie, chase would have to be her tiktok crush. She liked the post and then looked closer into the photo. She noticed something strange about it.
"Is that one of the backgrounds from the lights out tour?" she asked herself. She looked down at the caption.
"back in business, baby ;)"
She was shocked when she read that. Is lights out tour coming back? Possibilities filled her head.
Coincidentally, she got an email notification while she thought.
Clicking on the pop up, she read the words...
