                                                  Connor didn't mind that Wren had her own life. But, it bugged him now because she is almost ten minutes late for their dinner reservation, where Connor plans to propose. 
                              "Hey..." Wren said into the phone, talking to Connor, "I can't make it tonight. Family emergency."
                              "Oh uh- okay then!" he smiled, trusting her, "So, I'll see you tomorrow?"

                              Wren answered nervously, "Uhm, yeah sure. Bye."
                              "I love y-" he was cut off. 
                              She hung up. 
                              She hung up.
                              There's nothing wrong in her family. She's avoiding me. She didn't even say 'I love you' or even let me finish saying it.
                              I can't believe this. What happened to my Wren?
