A few days had passed since that conversation happened. Tai and Matt continued to talk and grow closer. This was all going according to plan for Matt.
The day Mimi disappeared, no body questioned it at first. Mimi was always missing school for one reason or another. It wasn't until the police found her body at the bottom of the river that the other students began to panic. They never did find Mimi's head, however. or the tool used to take it off. Matt burned that and buried this, jumping through every possible hoop to prevent anyone from finding out it was him.
Matt scurried up the stairs to his science class, which he shared with Tai. The other class they shared was Gym Class. Tai sat directly next to Matt. So they'd chat and joke about crushes and friends and everything they could think of. Matt would watch Sora grit her teeth in anger, then openly flirt with Tai just to piss her off more.
But things were different today. Typically when Matt flirted with Tai, rubbing his thigh and such, Tai would playfully smack his hand away. Today he didn't. He blushed, yes. But he didn't try to stop Matt from touching him. Matt leaned into Tai's ear, purring seductively, trying to get Tai to react. Tai's wasn't ignoring him, he just wasn't acknowledging the presence of Matt's obvious attraction. Matt saw this as opportunity. He shot Sora a glare. Of course the nosy girl was watching from the other side of the room. Matt whispered into Tai's ear.
"Meet me on the roof after school. I have something to show you~"
