It has been a long day and I just want to sleep.

I arrived at the Martinez household and stepped out my blue Impala .

"Amalia!" Ruby said running up to me. "We missed you so much!"

"I missed you too!" I said back. " look how big you have grown."

I looked up and saw Jamal .

"Well don't just stand there, come here." I said and he ran up to me giving me a hug.

"I see you still have the same car as Oscar." Jamalsaid and winked at me.

"Anyways, you drive us to school tomorrow for orientation?" Jamal asked.

"Sure why not." I said.

We walked in the house and I was greeted by Abuela.

"Amalia!" She said coming up to me. "You have to tell me all the Chisme!" {Gossip}

I laughed and hugged her back.

"Oh my gosh Amalia!" My Aunt Geny ran up to me.
"Oh when Ruby said you were coming, I didn't believe it." She said giving me a tight hug.

After everyone left Geny showed me to my room. It was down in the basement and it was fairy spacious.

"I hope this is ok." Geny said.

"It's more than enough thank you." I said giving her a smile.

She left me to unpack my clothes and set up the room how I want it.

"Sooo how long are you staying?" Ruby said walking in my room.

"Well shit Ruby, what if I was naked?" I asked and he started laughing. "I'll be staying for a while if that's ok."

"It's more than ok, I love you goodnight." Ruby said before closing the door and leaving.

After I set up my Queen bed, I fell asleep pretty quickly.

"AMALIA!" I heard someone yell in my face. "We gotta go."

I looked up to see Ruby.

"Ok ok, get out." I said throwing my pillow at him and he ran away.

I sat up in bed and rubbed my eyes.

After I finished getting ready, I walked up stairs and saw Ruby and Jamal waiting by the door.

"How about we walk to instead of drive?" Jamal suggested.

I agreed and walked out the house drinking a water.

"Amalia!" I turned around to see Monse.

She ran up to me and gave me a hug.

"Sorry I wasn't at the house to greet you yesterday." She said.

"It's fine." I said giving her a smile.
