"That goes in the master bedroom." I said to the Cholo holding a large box.

I walked outside and saw sad eyes talking to some girl.

"Hello Miss Amalia." Jay said coming up to hug me.

"Hi Jay." I said hugging him back.

"You heard the news?" Jay asked.

"What news?" I asked confused.

"Oh, Tonya'a water broke last night." He said. "She gave birth this morning."

"Oh, that's nice." I said. "What does the baby look like?" I asked and Jay showed me a picture.

"Aww he's adorable." I said looking at the baby. "What's his name?"

"Gabriel." Jay said smiling at the picture. "But can we talk for a sec?"

"Yeah, what's up?" I asked confused.

"Would you like... I don't know.." Jay trailed off. "Maybe go out with me?"

I smiled at him. "Sure weirdo."

He smiled and hugged me. "Oh thank god you said yes, I probably would've just died right here if you hadn't."

"Amalia!" I heard someone yell and I looked up to see Oscar.

Jay placed me back down and I sighed.

"I'll be back." I said and he nodded and went to go help out with the moving.

I walked over to Oscar and sighed. "Yes?"

"Why you avoiding me?" He asked.

"I'm not avoiding you Oscar." I said rolling my eyes. "Gabriel is adorable by the way."

He laughed and smiled. "Yep, he gets it from his parents."

"Yep." I said dryly. "Anyways , if that's all you wanted I have to get back to moving."

"Hey." He said while grabbing my arm pulling back towards him. "I need to talk to you later about something, ok?"

"Ok, when?" I asked snatching my arm away.

He sighed. " tonight at 9, come by the house."

I nodded and walked away.
