"we gotta make team" addison says.
"girls verse boys?" avani suggests.
"uneven number, 3 verses 3, one person is the judge." i say.
"i'll be the judge, i'll get in the water with you guys afterwards." dixie says.
"me avani and ondreaz verses addison tony and charli." i suggest.
"bring it onnnn!" charli says excitedly.
"3,2,1, GO!" dixie yells.
ondreaz gathers sand while me and avani get water to make the sand damp.
after around 15 minutes, our beautiful sand castle was nearly finished. is was castle with a pool of water surrounding it. i patted it on the top so it would be pointy.
"DOOOONE!" ondreaz yells.
"heck yeah!" avani says as i give her and ondreaz a high five.
i look over and see tony's team is nearly done as well.
"extra points to their team because they finished first" dixie says.
"hell yeaaaaa" i say
ondreaz laughs.
*5 minutes later*
"DONE!" charli yells.
tony goes around high fiving.
dixie goes around both sand castles.
"they're both really good, i'm giving them both a 10/10. but since y/n's team finished first, they win." dixie says.
"yeahhhh!!" ondreaz says as he hugs me.
as i was hugging him, i see tony looking at him and i. he looked kinda mad. i hugged avani and walk up to him.
"you ok?" i ask.
"oh- yeah. just, wanted to win" he said as he fake chuckled. i knew he was lying.
"wellll.." i say as i guide him closer to the water.
i splash him.
"sucks for you!" i say as i run away. his face lit up.
he starts chasing me and everyone laughs as they go into the water. i look behind me as i'm running, i still see tony chasing me.
i use my feet to splash him as i run to ondreaz and hide behind him. tony looks at him.
"ondreaz save meee." i say as i duck.
"sorry y/n" he says as he giggles and steps aside.
i quickly try to get up and run but i trip over and tony nearly lands on me but hold himself up with his arms so he's on top of me. we both laugh. tony gets up and helps me up.
"love birds" addison says.
we look at each other and blush. does he like me? crap, what if he doesn't? i was too busy day dreaming i didn't even realise tony coming towards me. he picks me up. i gasp.
"tony! put me down your backs gonna hurt!" he looks at me.
"you're lighter than my brother, i pick him up all the time." he says as he smiles at me. that smile, that damn smile. i go crazy for it. before i know it, he's carrying me in the water and we're up to his chest. he looks at me.
"hold your breath." he throws me in the water. i go under and quickly come up again.
"tony!!" i say as i splash him. he laughs. i swim away but he grabs my legs and pulls me towards him he grabs my waist, goes under the water and places me in his shoulders. he comes up and i go up with him.
"woahhh, tony are you sure you're ok??" i say looking down at him. he looks up.
"i could hold you all day and my arms wouldn't hurt." he says as he smiles and looks down again. i pout.
"he's so cute" i say under my breath.
"what was that?" tony asks, know that he heard me.
"nothin" i say casually, but i'm actually exploding inside. i play with his curly hair as he walks around. he goes a little deeper in the water.
"hold your breath" he says again.
"oh god" i say as i close my eyes. he lets go of my legs and leans over so i fall in. i get up and splash him.
"you're mean." i say to him. he grabs me by my waist and pulls me in.
"am i now?" he whispers in my ear. it sends chills down my spine.
we all spend more time at the beach, until we all get dry and change. it was the best day i've had in a long time.
