Chapter 13

Roc's pov:

Zonnique got out of the hospital today. She isnt paralyzed and she can walk but with a limp. Right now we are at home watching tv. Lyric is in her room sleep. There was a hard knock on the door. It scared Zonnique because she jumped. "Whos that" she asked. "I dont know but I'll get it" i said. I got up and opened the door. No one was there. All of a sudden 2 men and 1 woman jumped out of no where with mask on. They all held guns up at me. "Zonnique got get lyric and run out the house " i screamed. She came around the corner and seen me a gun point. I mouthed 'run'  and she did. "Okay look nigga if you and Zonnique come with us we wont hurt yall or yall baby" the girl said. She sounds so familiar. She almost sounds like my ex Tiara. "Who thw fuck are yall" i said. "None of your fucking business " the boy said. Now he sounded a lot like Deonte.

Zonnique's pov:

When Roc yelled get out the house i ran around the corner. I seen him at gun point. He mouthed 'run' so thats exactly what I did. I got Lyric and ran to my bedroom. I put her on the bed and i went to the closet. I went to the bottom of the closest and grabbed a gun i have for safety. I went to the window and opened it. I saw Chres and the boy talking. They still had Chres at gun point. I aimed my gun at the boy. I aimed for his head. I pulled the trigger and he fell down. I hurried and shot the girl in her chest. Chres looked scared because he didn't know where the shots were coming from. I grabbed Lyric and the gun and ran downstairs to chres. "Baby are you okay" i said. "Yea but get in the house someones shooting from somewhere " he said rushing me in the house. I stopped him. "It was me. I seen them holding a gun at you so i shot them from the window" i said. "Oh thanks baby" he said. We heard sirens coming closer. Chres looked a little scared. He gave me a long passionate kiss. "I love you ok" he said. "I love you to. " i said. He kissed lyric on the cheek. "We should see who the people where." I said. "Yea we should" he said. We went to them and pulled their mask off. I gasped. How is he still alive. It was Deonte. "Its Deonte" i said to Chres. "Its Tiara" he said. "Whos Tiara" i said. "My ex " he said. Ohhhh. The police,ambulance and firefighters showed up. They put Deonte and Tiara on a stretcher and took them to the hospital. Lyric started to cry so I rocked her. Mama August showed up because I asked her to take Lyric to her house because its to much going on. "What's going on" Mama August questioned. "I'll explain later. Can you take Lyric with you " i asked. "Yea" she said then left. The police was questioning me and the other was questioning Roc. I told the police officer the whole story. All of a sudden I Seen them put hand cuffs on Roc. What the Fuckkk. "What are yall doing"  I screamed running to them. "Chresanto August is arrested. We've been looking for him for 2 years now. He's in a gang and he sells and kills alot of people " the officer said. I looked at Chresanto in shock. I never knew this. I was living with a fucking criminal. " he has a bad criminal record ma'm " he said while putting Chres in the back of a police car. "Baby im sorry ok. I love you and Lyric so much. " he said. I was crying so much. "How long is he going to be in jail" i asked. "About 3 or 4 years" he said. Thats wayy to long. I started crying even harder. Me and Chres been dating for about 9 months. Im 18 and Chres is 19.  When he gets out of jail ill be 21 or 22. The police left and i was alone. I got in my car and followed them to the police station. I need to find a way to bail him out. I cant go that long without him.
