Chapter 12

Roc's pov:

I ran to the other side of the car with lyric in my hands. I seen blood dripping from Zonnique's hand. She was holding her thigh. Shit ,someone shot her. I put lyric in the backseat and picked up Zonnique. She was screaming in pain and it hurt me to see her like that. I took her to the hospital and they rushed her to the back. I called my momma so she can help me with Lyric. She walked through the doors. "Now tell me what happened " she demanded. "Zonnique got shot in her thigh" i said. She gasped. "Oh my gosh. What were yall doing playing with guns" she said. "Momma nobody was playing with no guns. It was a fucking shoot out" i said. "Watch your mouth little boy" she said to me. I grew irritated and gave lyric to her and walked to the vending machine. I got another text and it said 'Yea i shot your girlfriend. I told you to watch your back. Next is your daughter'  Im so pissed right now. They better not go no where near Lyric. Im under so much stress right now. My girlfriend is in the hospital. Im getting these weird ass text messages. Someone spying on us. They trying to hurt my baby.  And my fucking car got bullet holes in it. Thats my favorite fucking car.  I walked back to the waiting room and saw my mom talking to some doctor. "Is she alright? " i asked while making my way up to them.  "Yea" my mom said. "We can go see her" my mom added. We walked to her room and she was watching tv. "Hey baby" i said. She turned and looked at me. "Hey" she said. I pecked her lips.  "You feel alright?" I asked. "Im fine i gues. I just can't feel my leg" she said. I wonder if that leg is paralyzed.  "Its not paralyzed " she said as if she was reading my mind. "Oh good. " i said. "Im going to kill who ever shot you." I said. "Yea because it hurts so bad" she said. "I know i got shot before to" i said. "Where? " she asked. "Way worst then where you got shot" i said. "Where tho? " she said. "My chest" i said. "It was 3 inches away from my heart" i added. She gasped. "Oh my gosh how did that happen " she said. "Just me doing dumb shit." I said. She nodded. "Wheres lyric? " she asked. "With my mom" i said. She nodded and start falling asleep. I sat next to her and wrapped my arms around her waist.

Deonte's pov :

Hey. Yall didn't know i was alive huh? Well yea im alive. I dont know how i survived but im glad i did. Its time for revenge. . Roc's ex Tiara is helping me make a plan.  She wants Roc and I want Zonnique. We tried to kill them fo trying to kill me but that didn't work so now we are gonna hold them hostage. I don't know how thats go turn out but I dont care. I don't know what we go do with Lyric. We might just kill her. Only time can tell.
