Chapter one - Meet Alexis

* Alexis' pov *
Hi my name is Alexis I'm age 16
I live with my dad and only my dad
My mom and dad got divorced when I was 4 and sense that happened my grandma watched me when my dad goes to work and she still watches me
My grandma thinks I'm her slave, I have to make and bring food for her, bring her water, vacuum every little spot I miss in the house, if I don't do it or get it done I get grounded from my iPad, phone, and laptop for a month when she is here
My dad comes home at 4, good thing because I do not want to spend much time with my grandma, she hates me. I get off of school at 2 and my grandma comes at 2.
4 months before school started, A Monday
" ALEXIS GET OUT OF BED " my dad yelled from downstairs
" FINE " I yelled
I got up and got ready for high school
One hour later I had to get to the bus stop
But I was late
" Dad I'm late for the bus again " I said
" Alright let me drive you " he said
We got into the car and drove off
When we got there I got out of the car and headed for the school building
I headed for my locker
" Hey " said Amber
" Hi " I said
" Did you ask him "
" Ask who what "

I grabbed my stuff and walked off
After school I toke the bus home
I walked up to my door and opened it

I started off vacuuming the whole house
And cleaned the two bathrooms
When I was finished i looked at the time, it was three
So then I stared on my homework until
" LEXI " my grandma yelled from the living room
I went to see what see wants
" What " I said
" Can you get me some water, cookies and salad "
" Fine"
I grabbed what she wanted and gave It to her
" Ok you go finish your homework "
I thought to myself that she usually makes me do more, FINALLY I don't have to do more
An hour later my dad came home
Ran downstairs to hug him
" Hi daddy "
" Hi sweetheart "
" Where's grandma "
" She went home oh and Lexi "
" Yea dad "
" When you get home for now on grandma is not going to be here "
" Why not "
" Well I think your old enough to stay home alone "
" YAY "
At 8 me and my dad watched Home Alone
During the movie I fell right to sleep
Morning, Tuesday
" ALEXIS GET UP " my dad yelled
" OK " I said
When it was time for my makeup and to put in my contacts i realized that I promised Amber that I will not put it on today
I don't think It will make a difference but I went with it anyways
An hour later I headed for the bus stop
Not late today
I got on the bus and went to school
When there I got off the bus headed for the school building and to my locker
" Alexis I see you did not wear makeup and put contacts on today " said Amber
" I promised you " I said
" I see that "
" I don't think it makes a difference "
" Yes it does "
" Why "
" Harry loves girls who don't wear a lot of makeup and contacts "
" How do you know "
" He told me "
" When "
The school bell rang
" I'll tell you later " Amber said and went to science
" Ok " I said then went to math
I toke my seat, and listened to the teacher Ugh!
" Ok everyone time for break "
And she said that everyone started to talk
As usual I sat at my seat
But Harry walked up to me
" Hey Alexis " Harry said
" Hi Harry " I said nervous
" Why are you not wearing your contacts and makeup "
After he said that I stopped
I thought to myself, should I tell him what I think or lie?
