BEEP BEEP BEEP!
I woke up to the roaring sounds of the digital alarm clock. I was in 10th grade, nothing so special.. I would be turning 15 soon in 2 weeks. I had got up, changing into some clothes (ripped faded jeans, Timberlands, and a plaid shirt). Finishing my morning things, I grabbed my book-bag (gray North Face) and headed downstairs to see my family. My mother is a doctor at St. Jude's Hospital, her name is Eva Talons. My father is a surgeon at St. Jude's, his name is Quincy Gray. My older brother is Redgey whose 17.
"Well good morning my Angel," my mother smiled. I gave her a half smile and grabbed a bag of Goldfish crackers.
"Someone wants to get early..again" Redgey said. I scowled at him, I didn't talk much, I felt I only talk if needed or whatever. I opened the door, grabbing my book-bag in the process.
"Bye," I left, walking to school and listening to music. I was halfway at the school when I was stopped by Nathaniel, the stupid popular bum. I walked faster, trying to concentrate on getting to the stupid school, trying to avoid Nathaniel and his stupid ego.
"Wait up, I need to talk to someone," I heard Nathaniel say. I walked faster, close to jogging. I heard Nathaniel's big, stomping feet, slapping on the pavement over my music. I paused the instrumental sound, putting away my headphones. Nathaniel was now at my side, walking at the pace I was.
"Hey...uhhh...What was your name again?" Nathaniel questioned, I rolled my eyes at looked at my moving feet. I stopped at looked at him.
"Why is it your concern?" I narrowed my names. Nathaniel made circles of the pavement with his shoe, looking at the ground. He looked up, his green eyes piercing into my brown eyes. His chocolate brown hair, flowing in the wind.
"Just to know you," Nathaniel smiled. Just to know me? I thought. I narrowed my eyes, what is he gonna pull now?
"Just to know me," I repeated him "why want to know me when your just going to try to use me? Why want to know me when you call, 'Hey loser', 'Hey spaz', 'Hey slut'? Do you think I'm dumb enough to be fooled by a confused dimwit like you? No." I kept walking. I didn't look back as I went into the school.
I was walking through the halls, hearing Nathaniel call me name. I closed my locker quick enough, but not so quick because he was right in front of me. I gulped as I looked up at him.
"You bitch.." I heard Erica. I turned and looked at the blond-haired, skinny girl. She's popular too. Ugh... Nathaniel looked at her then me as his expression changed. He started shoving me when he took my book-bag and shook out the contents. I frantically looked for my leathery sketchbook, until Nathaniel had taken it from the floor. I try to reach for it when he runs into the classroom and locks the door.
I try to open the door, pounding on it as Erica laughs. He smirks at me and opens the book, looking through the pages. I pound on the door more, when suddenly his smirk drops from his face. Nathaniel looks concentrated, reading and looking at the things I had wrote and drew. I pounded on the door once more when he opened it. I snatched my sketchbook and hurried to gather my things.
I looked back to see Nathaniel staring at me, thinking in the process I guess. I scowl at him as Erica pulls him away. I run to my next class, the day slipping by, happy it is from the humiliation I had went through.
