Chapter II: Boats and Games

Eva and the Meta Runners arrived to destination : Matt's old hideout, wich is now MD-5's HQ.

Eva: Everyone, get out. 

All Meta Runners got out from the 2 vehicles. They entered in the building. It was full of armed agents.

Eva : Stay there. I'll go to the briefing room. Some people will come and take care of you.

Eva entered in the center elevator, and pressed the last floor button. When it arrived, she got out, and entered in the briefing room. Nobody was there. She took a seat, and waited 10 minutes, before the MD-5, Tari and Matt arrived. Eva got up and greeted them in millitary style.

Eva : Hello. My mission is done.

Masa : Good. You can sit down.

The MD-5 took a seat.

Matt : First of all, sorry for being late, we were in a Commando mission, like always, and it seems like we have taken more time that we were thinking.

Eva : Don't care about this... It's okay.

Matt : Great. So, we have found in our last mission that Tascorp is about to sell to some of their allies in West of Japan,a hard disk, containing 5 000 000 Tcoins of stolen copies of games and Softwares. It's up to you to get that hard disk and give it to us . We'll hack Lucinia's personnal account to make her pay all of this.

Eva : When should I do all of that ?

Tari : Tomorrow, at 11. PM. At the principal port.

Eva : Allright. But, you could send me this order in a SMS...

 Tari : Yeah, but you know... We actually decided to meet you more often,  to make you less...

Lamar : Introverted. And Brutal.

Eva : Sorry, but it's too late. All people who know me are and will still afraid of me. Even If I change. That's it.

Tari : Ohhh, you're wrong... One day, I'll give you the charge of taking care of Theo, for one week or two... And you will change after this, and nobody will fear you again, i'm sure of it !

Theo : What ? This girl is scaring me... I don't wanna...

Tari : Theo ! 

Theo: Sorry.

Eva : You see ? He's scared. That's not a good idea, sorry. Sometimes, I ask myself if my dad learned me all of this, just only because I was bullied...

Sofia : Aww, c'mon... It's allright. We'll find a solution to this... We promess !

Eva : Thanks, but I don't think it will happen. I'm the "Silent Crow", and I'm condemned to remain it forever... Anyway. It's midnight. I have to go. See you later.

Eva left. She took her car, and returned back to home. She immediatly sat on her bed, after she changed her clothes. She took a syringe, fullfilled of antidepressant, and fell asleep.

She dreamed.

She was in the room of her old house, sitting on her bed. A 2 years-younger version of herself and her dad, were standing, each one in the front of the other.

Young Eva :Daddy ? You're here !

Eva's dad : Hello, Eva. Are you alright ?

The young Eva approached herself from him and hugged him.

Young Eva : Not really, daddy...

Eva's dad : Don't worry. I'm here now, my daughter. I promess that this will end. Nobody will fear you again.
