Despite being knows as the Killer whale they are actually in the dolphin family. You can tell this by the large dorsal fin on it's back, the largest of any known alive animal. They are known as "the wolf of the sea". This is because no matter where they are in the world they will hunt as a group called a "pod" instead like the nickname where wolves hunt in "packs". Some people say that the Great White shark is at the top of it's food chain. It's not. Even though it's main diet is whales and other dolphins, they are known to hunt great white sharks. Be cause of Orca's having no natural predators, they are known as the "apex predator". They had both bodily strength and strength in numbers. Pods are known to be up to 40 Orcas big.
