[2] Unknown Threads

Howling was audible through the whole day. What's not really typical since Chan and his minimalistic pack were roaming this area since a while now.  The current howling also sounded way younger than what was known from the others.

"They may be younger than us, but with this proid howling... They must be at least four of them." Hyunjin stated, stomping through the thick snow.
Woojin nodded.

"We have to be careful. But mainly we have to warn the girls. They surely are strong enough to defend themselves but better safe than sorry."

Luckily this day wasn't snowy, it was rather clear and warm. But it also dresnt give them any cover from the intruders.
It didn't take the Elks too long to spot the five headed girlgroup, since they were always in reach.

Chaeryeong was the first to spot the guys, shily waving at them.
"Hey guys! It's been a while!" she smiled.

"Good day, m'ladies." Woojin greeted them.

It didn't take long until Ryujin, Yeji, Yuna and Lia joined Chaeryeong.

"I guess you came to warn us about the howling?" Yeji stated.

"Yes. Well, it's not Chan and his friends, that's for sure."

"Yeah we figured that already. They sound different. But why roam this area?" Yeji questioned. "Well they surely aren't familiar with the area.."

"They're either young and pretentious or  in the majority. Probably at least four to five I suppose." Hyunjin declared, looking around.

Affirmative the girls nod.
"so I guess it's the best to head back home and let them roam for a while. If they don't find an opponent they'll loose interest quickly for sure." Yuna spoke wisely.

"Yeah, better head back home, and stay there maybe until there's no howling anymore. For now it's the only thing we can do. Otherwise... We have to spare up and do out best to defend the territory." The last thing Hyunjin wanted to do these days was to fight against some wolves who think they can just take their long been territory.

Agreeing in those terms both groups headed back home. Luckily they provided themselves with food the past days after the big storm.

Meanwhile at the wolves house______

"You've got your Pouch? Your knife? Swiss knife?"

"Yes I've got it!!!!" It was obvious how annoyed Jeongin was at Chan. Wasn't it enough that he throws a fit every time he saw just anyone that wasn't the other two of them?
Not only Jeongin, but also Chan and Seungmin made themselves ready for a fight. On Chans command though.
Seungmin just followed on whatever Chan told him to do, at least he was able to talk back to Chan. The younger one wasn't. He just had to do whatever Chan told him to, unless Seungmin took protection.

If there was one thing Jeongin hates even more than get scolded by Seungmin or Chan then it was to fight. The thought of hurting someone else or even something else was all against his mind. Although he was a wolve, a hunter, a feared one among the forest dwellers. The orange brown furred wolve just couldn't do it.
His thoughts were interrupted by Chan getting ready to head out.

"I guess since those wannabe daredevils won't leave our area we have to take action. They sound way too young to do us any harm." the oldest of the three declared, opening the door and holding it open for the other two to follow.

Seungmin already tried to talk him off of it but without success.
" Come on Innie, maybe we're lucky and won't even encounter them. " laying one hand on the younger ones shoulder he smiled encouraging.

Jeongin only let out a sight and followed them out into the forest. He really hoped Seungmin was right. Maybe they would smell them coming and run for their life's out of fear. Yeah. For sure.
