"Hey, Soda! How ya been?" You asked, walking into the DX.

"Gooood, nothin' special. How about you?" He responded.

"Pretty good. i just came to see you and drop this off..." You say as you hand him his favorite flannel.

"Yes, you fixed it!" He shouted and hugged you.

The other day, Soda had broken off two buttons so you offered to help him. "Of course." You reply.

"Do you want to come over after my shift ends? It'll probably be another 5 minutes." He says.

"Sure why not." You smile and walk around, just studying everything.

Your eyes wonder to Soda as he's helping some guy with his car. You thought he was pretty cute but he was just your best friend. He came back in. "Let's go." He says.

You finally get to his house and walk in. "Hey guys!" You say.

They all looked pretty excited to see you. Darry was in the dining room at the table playing cards with Two and Steve. Pony and Jonny were on the couch talking. Dally was not in the house. "Come on, let's just go to my room." Soda said.

You nodded. He threw off his boots and laid down on his bed. You sat next to him. "You alright?" He asked.

"Yeah." You lied.

You were thinking about how long and how much you liked him. "C'mere, Princess. I know something's bothering you." Soda says, holding his arms out.

You kick off you shoes and lay on Soda's left and rest your head on Soda's chest. You wrap your arm around his stomach and put your right knee on his left leg. He puts his arm on your back and rubs your arm thats around him with the other hand. "I'm not ok, Soda. I think I'm falling for someone I shouldn't." You say.

"Who, may I ask?" He says.

"My best friend." You reply.

"Steve??" He asks.

You giggle and look up at him. "No."

"Then who's your best friend." He sincerely asked.

You let out a sigh. "You!" You smiled.

"I'm your best fri- Wait you're falling for me??" He asked.

You laid your head back on his chest. "Wow... Wait, but, why shouldn't you fall for me?" He asked.

"I don't want to ruin our friendship, which it seems like I just did..." You say, starting to sit up but Soda pulled you back down.

"No, Y/n... I like you too." He said.

You looked at him shocked. "Hell, Y/n, I love you. And I have since we was kids!" He says.

"I- I love you too!" You say, placing a kiss upon his lips.

You felt him smile into the kiss. It lasted about 5 seconds when he pulled away. "Y/n would you be my girl?" He asks.

"Yes!" You say and kiss him again.

He added his tongue so you added yours. "Ahem!" You looked and saw Pony.

"That's my bed, too! Don't get your nasty juice all over it!" He said, disgusted.

"Ew, Pony!" You yelled.

"Just sayin'." He said and walked away.

You looked at Soda. He had a new look in his eyes. You thought it was cute. You snuggled against him becase you knew how much he loved to cuddle. "I love you, Sodapop Curtis." You say.

"I love you, too, Y/F/N." He replied.

"I've waited too many damn years to hear that." You say, cuddling even closer.
