Megan's POV
I hate it when people stare at me. It's honestly the most annoying thing ever. Like chill, I'm trying to focus but you're distracting me. But there's one guy I'd like to stare at me. His name is Aleksandr, doesn't that name just sound so cute?! No? Oh well. He goes by Aleks and he honestly doesn't know I exist. He's really cute though, he's the one I write my poems about, cue cliche music, but no one knows I write poems, not even my best friends, the only one who knows is Aleks; he figured it out and I asked him not to tell, so he knows my "big " secret. I'm falling for the schools best soccer player, and he likes someone else. Do you know what it feels like to be someone's second choice? Yes Megan, people know how that feels, ur not the only one, I promise. It's like being crushed by a million bricks, then someone walks on you like you're a bug. I was snapped out of my sadness by third period's bell which meant lunch. I shoved my journalism notebook into my back pack and walked out of the classroom, the funny thing about my group of friends is that we all have our own electives; Audrey has theatre, I have journalism, Drew has electronics, Jess has game design, and Tessa has art. I walk slowly to biology because I don't remember if I did my homework, I know that I read the chapter I just don't think I did the worksheet thing. I walk into science and sit next to my partner; Aleks.
"Hey Aleks, did you do the worksheet for homework?" I ask as I sit down
"Yea why?" He asks as he takes it out
"Because I didn't do it. Mind if I copy yours?" I ask as I take my blank sheet out
"Nope, not at all go ahead." He says as I start to copy

Aleks' POV
I fell in love with a girl who's too popular for me. I stare at her all the time and she doesn't seem to notice. I even read the poems she writes about some other guy. I love the look on her face when she's concentrating, wether she writing poems or finishing homework, she looks so cute. In the middle of class I get this burst of confidence to talk to her.
"Hey Megan, are you understanding any of this?" I whisper to the bright girl sitting right next to me.
"Yes, kind of why?" She whispers back.
"Because I'm not, could you maybe explain it to me later? Like at my house, tonight?" I whisper to her
She smiles and whispers back, "Of course, but don't you have soccer today?"
"Nope, coach gave us today off." I whisper back smiling.
"One more question are you driving me to your house? Or am I coming there at a certain time?" She asked me and I smiled at the idea of driving her, letting her play her songs, talking, learning more about her every second.
"I'll drive you, meet me on the bench in front of the parking lot." Even though I'm two years older than Meg, I am completely in love with her, well not really, love is a strong word. I like her more than soccer, and that's saying something.
Then the bell rang notifying that it's time for lunch. Megan practically ran out the classroom, but before she escaped she turned and gave me a smile and a wink. If I hadn't just scored a tutoring session with her I would have done it now anyway.
