i woke up to charli and avani shaking me "woah woah, what the hell are y'all doing?" i ask confused since i just woke up "we're going to go dress shopping for your birthday! get ready!" charli says in excitement. "who's all coming?" i ask as i get out of bed and go to my closet to find clothes "um me, charli, addie, dixie, kouvr, and nessa!" avani says smiling "shit that's a lot of people" i laugh and go into the bathroom to change:

"omg cute!! we NEED to go shopping together" larri says as he walks into the room and i start giggling. i walk downstairs "well don't you look very.." nick says "very well dressed!" anthony finished nick sentence with a smile. and it makes me blush a bit. payton walks up to me and gives me a hug "nichole be careful, okay?" payton asks me with a little smile "okay, i will!" i say with a smile. mattia comes up to me and put his hands on my shoulder "promise?" i turn around and laugh a little bit "promise." i say trying to be serious but fail. then i pull him in for a hug "okay guys, for real, get a girl your own age. she's almost an adult and y'all are literal babies" chase says and it makes all of us laugh. "i mean y'all could date me! i'm single!" daisy says "oh daisy sweetie, you're a literal boomer so get out!" mattia says and we all start dying "or me!" sissy says "oh HELL no!" payton says walking off laughing, and mattia runs outside and pretends to puke which sends off crying of laughter. "ok ok, let's go!" avani says still laughing. we get into my car and i start driving to the dress store.
we finally arrive at the dress store, and the girls and i walked inside to the lady at the counter. "hello ladies! how can i help you today?" she smiled at us "um we are here to buy birthday dresses." i say back to hee "and how old is the person going to be and what kind of party will it be?" she asked "its an 18th birthday and it will be a formal!" avani says as i stare at her and mouth formal?! she nods at me and laughs "ok ladies! right this way!!" she says smiling and we all follow her.
"ok so here are the dresses, and yall can pick out any kind yall like and try on as many as you want!" she says and she almost walked out of the room when charli asks "when nichole picks out her dress," she points at me "is it ok if we get 2 of the same exact dresses? just in case the first one gets messed up?" the lady turns back around "oh of course! and since im guessing its that young girls birthday, yall can get both dresses for the same price!" she says happily we all smile "thank you so so much!" addison says and the lady smiles and walks out of the room. "alright ladies! lets pick out our dresses!!" i say and we all rush to find dresses.
time skip 4 hours::
we all finally find our dresses! "ugh finally! that took forever!" kouvr says and we all laugh "i mean it was worth it!" dixie says as she comes and hugs me "i mean yeah! its literally nichols 18th birthday! it was worth all of those 4 hours of looking and trying on those dresses!" nessa says and we all agree and i laugh.
we get to the counter, and i insist on paying, but they all say no and avani pulls out her card and pays for all of us "oh my god avani! you did NOT have to do that!!" i say "oh yes i did!" she says and laugh. "will that be all for today?" the lady asks "yes!" charli says " alright, well yall have a fun party! and happy birthday nichole!" the lady says and gives me a little hug "thank you! have a good rest of your day!" i say and we all walk out of the dress store and get in the car and start driving.
we finally arrive to the house and walk inside. but we leave our dresses in the car where sissy cant find them. we walk inside and are immedently greeted by bryce saying "well shit, took yall long enough!" and we all laugh "yeah! i thought yall got lost in the dress maze or some shit." alex sats and we all start laughing again "oh hey! lets watch a movie!" josh says and we all agree and immediently sit down on the couch or the floor. "what movie should we watch?" mattia asks"oh! we should watch beetlejuice!!" i suggest "oh HELL YES!!" avani, charli, nessa, payton, and anthony says and i laugh "oh my god nichole. youve seen that movie like 17 times already (as im actually watching beetlejuice and writing this chapter hahaha) "i mean what can i say? its a good movie!" i say and shrug my shoulder, as everyone agrees! we all sit down and i sit down next to anthony and he pats his lap asking for me to lay down, so i do so and i look up at him and we exchange smiles. i look over at sissy because i feel eyes on me. and i see her glaring at me. i roll my eyes and i look over at avani and payton and when avani and i make eye contact, i smirk at her. and she playfully rolls her eyes and hugs payton.
halfway through the movie, i feel anthony pull me closer to him and i smile at him and scrunch my nose and he lightly kisses my head.
shit, i am so so so greatful that i have all of these people in my life that i have right now, at this very moment. i would never ask for anything better.
