Softer Side

Chapter fifty-six

"Louis if this is another photo of a cat doing yoga I swear to God i'm blocking your number" Becky mumbles, looking at her phone to see Louis' name appear. She pressed accept, seeing a photo of herself appear. Her eyebrows raised as she looked at it, showing her back to the camera and her hands in her hair as she looked at the Ferris Wheel we were all planning on going on. "Actually Lou... that's a really nice photo" she says softly, looking up to the Doncaster man before her.

"I know" he smirks, folding his arms happily. "I'm essentially a photographer" he teases as he watches her look closer, watching her about to post it. "Wait Becky... you can't post it" he states quickly, her eyebrows furrowing as she looks at him. "Have you seen Soph and Niall in the background? You just- you can't post it" he groans. "Crop them out of something" he mumbles.

Becky laughs, shaking her head with a wide smile. "Lou, look at them... they're ridiculously cute, the world deserves to see that" she smiles happily. "I'm posting it" she shrugs, pressing upload with a wide grin. "Come on, ferris wheel" she beams, skipping off happily. I wave goodbye to her with a smirk as she steps into her cart with Louis who was raising his eyebrows at being stuck with Becky. Becky looked happy enough, her hands clapping as the cart swung a little.

I sat beside Niall, running my hands over his thigh lightly as he chuckles, pressing his lips to my cheek lightly. The cart began to move, sending us round and round the wheel to see the view before us. Louis sighed as he ran his hands over his lap, looking out ahead of them. "So" he mumbles, sighing softly as Becky groans.

"This is a little awkward..." she mumbles as Louis nods, humming in response. "Maybe we shouldn't have done this" she says softly, looking out over the side of the cart. "Maybe I should have gone with Soph and Niall" she mumbles as Louis shakes his head with a smile.

"Come on Beck... this doesn't have to be awkward" he shrugs with a smile. "Lets get a drink after this, have some fun and start this whole thing how it should be?" he shrugs with a smile. Becky sighs, looking at her hands before looking at him.

"No more secrets?" she says softly, looking into his eyes with a sad smile. Her eyes held hope he would agree.

"No more secrets" he agrees, smiling softly as the cart moved again.

I giggle softly, stepping out of the ferris wheel cart and walking towards the rest of our group. My fingers were fixing my bodysuit I wore with my lower lip between my teeth. Niall was following behind on his phone as Becky walked over. "Well they didn't keep it PG in their cart" she smirks at Louis who laughs loudly. I turn my head when I see Niall stopped, furrowing his eyebrows at his phone.

"Everything okay?" I hum to him, walking over and touching his arm lightly as he nods quickly, looking up.

"Yeah, everything's fine there's just this photo" he mumbles. My hand moved, grabbing his phone lightly from his hands with a sigh. My feet walked across the short distance to Becky, folding my arms across my chest.

"Becky why would you do this?" I groan, showing her the photo as she smiles at me, before her features drop.

"Soph it's okay!" Niall calls with a smile as he runs a hand through his hair. "I like it" he shrugs with a smile as Becky smiles again.

"Ni, you're just saying that... You wanted it all to be private" I say quietly as he shrugs. I walk with them, heading for the bar area with a sad smile, deciding I needed to say something to Becky. I bite my lip, sitting down beside her in one of the seats as she smiles slightly at me. "Look Beck I'm sorry" I mumble quietly. As she nods slowly, smiling at me.
