Chapter 4

Lizzie

I tried to stood tall as my Father gave a speech about Josie. I look at my beautiful twin sister laying down on the bed of white roses, dressed in long elegant red dress, her brunette hair was spread on the roses contrasting the light and dark colors. She looked so serene.. so at peace.. everyone in the school paid their respects to our lost. They offered white roses putting it under her coffin. I saw MJ along with Rafael and Landon trying to suppress their tears as they put their roses and said their goodbyes to Jo. I can't help my tears from falling and I immediately wipe it off. Then i saw Jade along with Hope. Jade turned to me then nod i returned her acknowledgment. Her gaze moved towards my father who did the same thing and gave her a sad smile. Then finally her eyes fixated on my sister I saw how pain reflected through her eyes and guilt. She grabbed Hope's arm for support. Wendy is already at her side encouraging her friend. Hope moved closer, layed down her white rose and caress Josie's cheeks, she tried to suppress her tears and immediately look up to stop them from falling. She smiled at Jade to signal her to do the same. Jade slowly walked towards Josie, she gently put her rose in between Josies clasped hands. She held her hand for a while making gentle strokes as she gaze on her face. Her tears began to slide down on her cheeks, she bit her lower lip suppressing her moans of agony then stepped back. She look at us and said "I'm sorry..its my fault.." Dad and I immediately console her. "Its no one's fault Jade.. that was her doing saving us..." I heard my father painfully said those words. "And you know how my sister is.. she have that big heart that everybody could fit in..that's how special she is.." i said proudly. She nod in agreement while wiping her tears away and smiled sadly.

Students and teachers continued to offer her roses till her coffin was now surrounded with a blanket of white roses. "Where's my daughter!?" I heard a familiar voice shouted and then we turned to her direction. "Mom.."i gasp. "Caroline.." father said half-whisper. She walked towards us in vampire speed. She look at Josie with wide eyes "No.. no.. I won't allow this! She can't be dead!!!!" Mother hysterically shouted. "Caroline..." father reached out to her but she stepped away. "NO DONT TOUCH ME!!! you're supposed to take care of her!!! To take care of our children!!!" She shouted in anger, her eyes already changed and her fangs are showing. Father signaled the teachers to dismiss the students. "let's discuss this privately.." father said calmly. "You really can't talk to her right now Alaric.." Aunt Elena suddenly appeared. "Auntie.." i said. "Hi baby.." she said while enclosing me with her warm hugs. "How are you holding up my dear?" She asked while caressing my cheeks. "i.. I don't know .. I'm so lost auntie.." i said in tears. "Ohh.. don't worry baby we're gonna bring her back.." she said. "What?! You mean it?" I said in shock but happiness already filled my heart. "Yes.. that's why we're here.. we will do with all our power to bring her back.." she said making me smile. Then we heard father and mother already arguing. "So what did I miss?" Uncle Demon suddenly appeared at my side. "Uncle!!" I hugged him. "Hey little girl.." he said. "You're late again hon.." auntie Elena said at her husband while rolling her eyes. "Nope sweet heart you are all just early." He answered while grinning.

Alaric

"You can't bring her back!!!" I shouted at her. "And why not?!? She's been bitten by a vampire! We can turn her!!! Maybe that's the reason why she chose the vampire to kill her in order to be resurrected after!" Caroline said angrily. "You don't understand! She's tainted with dark magic!!! If we turn her not only she's dangerous because of her dark side but also because she's stronger and immortal!!!" I explained to her. We were both panting due to shouting and extreme emotions. "Then why not we extract the black magic within her then thats the time we can turn her.." Damon suddenly interjected. "What? How is that even possible... she broke the dark sand glass and absorbed its power.. that black magic is too strong to handle and transfer." I said. "It's difficult but its possible.."he answered with a grin. "Baby why not just explain it to him completely so that he could understand, stop this thrilling nonsense you are really wasting time." Elena said to Damon. "To cut things short all we need to do is to find a dark being who is powerful enough to absorb all that black magic with the help of the witches of course when its done we can turn her.." he explained. Maybe we really can bring Josie back.
