"Fernanda!" my cousin Caesar yells.
"What Junior?" I yell back.
"Hurry up! You've got five minutes before we have to leave." He says.
I look at myself in the mirror one last time as I spray perfume on me and put on a fresh coat of lip gloss. I grab my backpack, turn off my speaker, put my phone in my back pocket, and head out my bedroom door. I lock up the house door behind me as I head to Juniors car. When I get in he's playing DaBaby.
"Can you put on Megan Thee Stallion?" I ask Caesar with puppy dog eyes.
"One song, but I'm not pulling up to school listening to that." He says with a big smirk.
"Yay! Thank you!" I say.
I decide to put on FREAK by her and Tyga then he goes back to playing DaBaby. All the way to school, I sit in the passenger seat singing my little heart out and slightly dancing.
When we pull up to school I hop out the car and then Caesar and I head inside of the school. We meet up with our friends, Junior and Lulu.
"Hey guys!" I say as we approach them.
"Wassup!" Junior says as he wraps his arm around me.
Lulu and Caesar kiss and then they look at us with these big smirks.
"What!?" I ask.
"When are you two going to get together?" Lulu says with a big smile.
"Shut up!" Junior says.
"I'm just saying... you's might as well be together" Lulu says.
I just shake my head with a smile. Then we all head to our first class.
When lunchtime hits, we all head out to Caesars car and we take a couple minutes to debate about what we're going to eat. We finally decide to get Chick Fil-A. When we pull up, we all order what we want then we hand over our money to Caesar so that he can pay.
"I got you babe!" He tells Lulu as she tries to hand him money.
"You got me? Your favorite cousin!" I ask with a big smile.
"Fernanda! I get you all the time!" He says as he takes my money with a smile.
"It was worth a try!" I say as I laugh it off.
After we get our food, we head back to the school and we eat in the car as Caesar blasts his music with the windows down. After a minute he puts on Movin' by Kiana Lede because he knows it's my favorite song right now. I instantly start singing along to it.
The three of them begin to hype me up in the car. As people walk past the car they look my way.
"I see you Fernanda!" A couple of guys says as they walk past.
I smile in their direction but I continue to sing my heart out.
"Damn girl!" Lulu says.
"What?" I ask with a smile.
"You can sing!" Lulu says.
"You act like it's a surprise to you." Junior says.
"I know it but it still blows me away." Lulu says.
"Well thank you Lulu!" I say.
After a minute we gather our things together and head back into school for the remainder of the day. We head to our free period where we somewhat work and mess around.
I actually get to working on an assignment after a minute and I'm all focused and then Junior decides to write on the corner of my paper some little doodle.
