5: Redemption

Logan looked in the mirror, the cuts and bruises on his face were healing, he took his shirt off to see that the Stones have worsened, going up his neck and chest.

Ajax: Hello Sir, how are you feeling?
Logan: I've gotta calm down with the Void, it's worsened.
Ajax: I suggest you rest for approximately 2 months, then it will rest at your shoulder.

A knock at the door got their attention, Logan opened the door to Isaiah.

Isaiah: Hey man, just wanted to let you know that I'm gonna be gone for a few days.
Logan: Where you going?
Isaiah: Don't worry about it for now, Two days ago an outpost of ours was ambushed, we've suffered heavy casualties.
Logan: Anything I can do?
Isaiah: Not at the moment, we still need you as a last resort though. Rest up, I'll be back in a couple of days.

Logan shut the door, Maia was sitting by the table playing with Connor.

Ajax: May I have a word with you Logan?
Logan: What's up?
Ajax: Did it ever occur to you why you were able to see Connors heartbeat at the first 15 hours of conception?
Logan: Uhhh.. no.. why?
Ajax: I think I have found the answer. Due to his fathers bio-human blood cells, his ageing was increased extremely. Which is why he was born in 6 months instead of 9 months. In conclusion. I hypothesise in the near future, During his adolescence stage, He will begin to develop his fathers abilities.
Logan: Did you tell Maia about it?
Ajax: I did. I suggest we take caution for the near future.

Nix: What the actual fuck are you?!
Logan: Your End.

Logan charged at Nix with rage, Nix launched his whip towards him and he caught it pulling Nix towards him this time, completely taking the wind out of Nix as he punched his gut with his new arm.
He continued to pummel into Nix with a burning rage, once he stopped he walked away thinking he beat Nix.

Nix: *Cough cough* You think you've finished me?!! I think you forgot something! As long as I have these powers. You can't kill me!!
Logan: Thanks for reminding me.

Something seemed different about this. Nix looked down at his hands, he had his gauntlet on, why is he back here? He looked up and saw Logan, holding the Anti Agent.
Logan walked up to Nix planning on injecting him with the Anti Agent, this time Nix knew what to do.
He turned himself into ash and passed through Logan, he wrapped his arm around Logan's throat and grabbed Logan's arm holding the anti agent, with all of his strength he pulled the anti agent closer and closer to Logan's chest.

Nix looked at Logan's chest as he created a void portal, the portal went through him and he shoved his own hand through the portal with the intent to stab Nix though the portal, Nix stepped back and ignited his Spear and swiped it at Logan's stone hand cutting it clean off.

Logan grunted in agony, the anti agent caught by nix and without second thought stabbed Logan in the back of the neck with the anti agent.
Logan took a few steps forward, grabbing the back of his neck, he turned around and looked at Nix.
His eyes. Becoming bloodshot with a purple tint to the blood. His stone arm falling apart, falling to his knees.

Logan: Heh.. nice one.. maybe you were the best of us.
Nix: Logan Wait.. no I didn't.. wait please man.. I'm sorry man please I'm sorry!

Logan dropped to the ground. Everything around Nix went wavy, smoke rising from the ground, he looked up and it felt like everything was turning to dust. He looked at the rubble to his left, Maia.. turned to dust. He held Logan in his arms. Turning to dust..
Everything went black.
