6: Deception

* Knock Knock Knock *
Logan sits up and walks to the door, he opens it seeing Isaiah standing there.

Logan: Hey what's up?
Isaiah: We gotta talk. Can I come in?
Logan: Yeah sure.. come sit.

They walk inside and head over to the dining area, they sit down, Logan notices Isaiahs nervous posture.

Logan: What happened?
Isaiah: While I was at the meeting I met someone. I believe you know him very well.

Isaiahs form began to change drastically a good ten seconds of changing and he stopped morphing, Logan's eyes widened and stood up.
It was Nix.

Logan: Fuck off.
Isaiah: I'm not joking with you Logan.
Logan: What do you mean? Noah's alive??
Isaiah: I spoke to him face to face.
Logan: I'm sorry what?! What else don't I fucking know?
Isaiah: He doesn't know where you are. But at the discovery of me meeting you he became aggressive.

Logan sat there processing the bombshell dropped on him.

Logan: What the fuck?.. How the fuck?

Isaiah was about to speak when a bolt of lightning hit outside the house. Fraser walked through the door staring forward, not wanting to look at Isaiah.

Isaiah: Nice to see you again.
Fraser: Fuck off man. You pissed everyone off yesterday.
Isaiah: I was seeing what made him tick. To see if he was reliable!
Fraser: Yeah but fuck you're using the location of The Voidwalker and the girl as a bargaining tool. That's a new low especially for-

Fraser turned around, noticing not only Isaiah but also Logan, Red Hot. Standing up looking at Isaiah.

Logan: You fucking WHAT!?
Isaiah: No hold up it's not like- *GURK*

Logan punched Isaiah with a right hook to the gut. He dropped to the ground grasping for air.

Logan: ARE YOU KIDDING ME ISAIAH?! YOU PLANNED ON SELLING OUT ME AND MAIA?! EVEN THE FUCKING KID?!
Isaiah: Logan. I have this. Under control. Calm down please. I was never gonna give the location up. As I said. I wanted to see what made him tick.
Logan: So what he wants to kill me?
Fraser: No, he doesn't.

Logan looked at Fraser.

Fraser: He wasn't mad at you in the meeting, he was mad at Isaiah because he was a prick. Nix got aggressive for a reason. Nix wants to redeem himself. Nix wants to see his kid.

The room went silent, their attention got drawn to the hallway, There stood Maia, waking up from all the commotion with a shocked expression.

Maia: ...what?..

Everyone went silent.

Maia: Someone please explain what's going on..
Logan: Isaiah, leave. Now. Fraser you stay.

Isaiah got up and quickly exited the house, a smirk as he went through the door. Awkward silence in the room as Maia stood there confused.

Logan: Can you please explain.. and no detail left out. Your experience of what happened.
Fraser: 3-4 days ago I was setting up an ambush on the outskirts of Newcastle, the sky turned red and it started raining blood, missiles came out of nowhere and blew up somewhere. I saw a Blue flare get shot up. That's when I knew we were getting attacked. I got there and helped Victor kill whatever was there. Our teammate Echo saw a guy sitting by rubble, blood coming from his head, missing an arm, just sitting there. It was Nix.
Logan: How the hell is he still alive?
Fraser: The story goes when you killed him 6 years ago, the same Germans we're fighting now have been watching the entire time, they grabbed his body and revived him, they sent him back in the field 5 days ago. He saw Newlatten destroyed and started killing Germans. He ended up at Newcastle and yeah. Found him armless, barely awake and hurt. Oh and he has a new arm. A cybernetic arm.
Logan: he doesn't have his powers?
Fraser: No. no. He's powerless.
