I woke up. The alarm on my phone is ringing. I want to sleep, it's my first day of 9th grade. I know everyone will pick on me. I gain the courage to get up and I change out of my red Christmas pajamas and wear a white t-shirt, some sweatpants, and a yellow sweater. I go to the kitchen and I see a note on the counter next to some toast on a plate and a glass of orange juice. The note says:
"Hey, sweetie! I had to go to work again but I left some toast and orange juice on the table for you. I hope it's okay. Love you!
-Mom"
I put the note in the drawer with all the other notes from my mother. I sat at the table and ate my toast and drank my orange juice. I went to the bathroom and went to brush my teeth and freshen up. My head is killing me. I took an Advil and packed my backpack. I packed my binder, water, lunch money, an iPhone, and a pack of Advil. I took the bus to my school and again, I sat alone. It was lonely staying alone on the bus. No one to talk to, nothing to do. I can only take my phone out and look at some videos and watch anime. I decided to watch danganronpa as it was my favorite anime. I never knew why, it just was. My favorite character was always Chiaki Nanami. With her positive spirit and big heart, she just reminded me of myself. "Hey Leon!" said Lori. "what you watchin'? "N-n-nothing!" I stammered. "Are you watching anime!?" Lori exclaimed. "I-" Lori snatched my phone from my hand before I could answer. "N-no!" I shouted. "Hey, guys!" Everyone stared at Lori. "Leon over here is watching anime! What a weeb!" Lori shouted. The whole bust burst into laughter. I felt like I wanted to cry. To run. But I had nowhere to run to. I was on a bus. "G-Give my phone back!" I stammered. "Okay," Lori said with a grin on her face. I was relieved but thought she was up to something. She passed me my phone and everything seemed fine for now. The bus stopped and I was first to get out. I was pushed and shoved by the people behind me. "WOAH-"
