Kyle and I have been dating for 7 years now!!! Holey. Kyle is now a doctor at a nearby hospital about 25 minutes away, I work at a dentist office about 9 minutes away from where we live. We have our same apartment and although everything seems the same it's not. Take my word because now Kate, Is 22 and pregnant. Yes really, my best friend told me about a month ago. She needs all the help she can get because the crap whole dad of course bailed out on them..Today Kyle ,Kate and I are going out to eat to talk about things and then to the doctor to get an ultrasound. Today I am wearing my new crop top since it is about 75 degrees. And my high waisted shorts with my hair wavy and my whit converse on.
"Dang babe. You look hot. " Kyle compliments me. "Awe thanks." I kiss him. We end up going to the mall and eating and as I walk amongst many many people a certain group of guys decide to stare.. They look me up and down and one of them whistles. And i can tell Kyle is getting really pissed off,and jealous. His fist are clenched and his jaw line is amazing. I want to drool over his body. They start to follow and we stop? Well Kyle stops me. He holds my hands and kisses me, then holds me in his arms. Yes I'm the middle of the mall. He is so romantic. But the only reason he is doing this is because of them guys.
Arriving to the doctors office I ask Kate if she is scared. She hesitated but finally answered with a kind of. We get into the small room with a scent of cleaning spray. An elder man walks in with a clipboard and has a seat. He talks to Kate about how she has been while he lifts her shirt and outs this jelly like substance on her stomach. It's so round but still small. He looks at the screen, with no facial expression. For An elder man like him the was usual. "Alrighty, I will be right back." He breaks the silence. I clench Kate's hand and she does the same. Minutes later a woman and the same man walk in. They had a printed picture of the ultrasound and were examining it. And even rubbing the tool around the sides of her. They walk out of the room again... Is something wrong? I ask myself . What if something happens... Oh no.
They walk back in," Kate, We have tried to look for a heartbeat in the ultrasound but it isn't showing up, we have printed pictures and I am dearly sorry but your baby isn't with us." Kate breaks down in tears and so do I. The doctors walk out of the room and I start to cry myself. Kyle tries to comfort us both " hey now, it will be okay. Maybe it was supposed to be like this." He leaves it at that and hugs both me and Kate.
