You woke up to a bright wintry morning out of your bedroom window. Everything felt so peaceful as you sat up in bed. You smiled as you stood up and began walking to the bedroom door, suddenly stepping in something sticky. Memories from the night began flooding back to your mind as you saw half dried blood staining your hardwood floor. You stepped back a bit and noticed that one of your feet were now leaving a print of blood.
"SHIT," you screamed, realizing your floor is going to have a big stain on it now. You hopped to the bathroom on one foot as to not stain any more of your floor with Mavrick's blood. Jeff stared at you as you struggled to reach the other room with only one foot.
"What the fuck are you doing," Jeff asked with tired amusement seeing as your earlier outburst in the bedroom woke him up.
"My floor," you said with an angry face. You couldn't believe you forgot to clean the floor. Your pride and joy. You took pride in how well your hardwood floors were kept. "It's all stained now. I got it on my foot and I'll be damned if I make it worse, so here I am. Speaking of where I am how the hell did I get here by the way? I feel asleep in the car. WAIT WHO DROVE HOME?"
"I did it obviously," Jeff said staring at you. It was too early for this.
"Which question are you answering," you asked as you finally reached the bathroom and turned the shower on, sticking your foot inside.
"Yes," Jeff stated yelling so you could hear him over the shower. You stared in his general direction. 'Did he carry me up here last night,' you asked yourself.
"That didn't make any sense you know," you yelled slightly back to him. Once the water ran clear on your foot you decided to take off your clothes and throw them to the corner of the bathroom, shutting the door before you did so. Jeff got up and walked towards your bedroom door to look at your floor. They had completely forgot to actually clean up the mess that was made. He walked further into your room, being sure to step over the mess. Something told him he shouldn't mess with your floors. He went back to the pictures he was observing yesterday. After a few minutes of staring he had gotten bored with that and walked over to your closet, seeing a cluttered floor and various boxes on the shelf above where your clothes were hanging.
"Shit," you muttered to yourself. You were too tired for this. You had neglected to bring your clothes or a towel in with you. You peeked outside the door hoping Jeff was paying attention to the tv that was on and not to you. You saw that he wasn't there and figured that he left to do some more of his 'hobby.' You walked out of the bathroom and into your bedroom, avoiding the mess on your floor and stepping to your closet before you noticed Jeff was standing in front of it, looking inside.
"DON'T TURN AROUND," you screamed holding onto his back to keep him in place.
"The hell are you doing," Jeff asked turning his head to the right as you jumped to the left to stay out of view.
"I'm naked don't look," you said trying to reach your hand out to grab some of the clothes in front of him. He turned and walked around you, resisting the urge to look at you. You took the chance and walked into the closet, closing the door behind you and switching on the lights.
"You shouldn't be worried about me then. I think half of New York just saw your ass. Your curtains are open," Jeff said walking over to them and drawing the blinds shut. You quickly threw on some clothes and exited the closet.
"Well then they're welcome," you said as you ran to the kitchen and grabbed some bleach and cleaning supplies from under the sink. Jeff glared at you.
"Hey why didn't I get to see it then," he said with jealousy. You giggled a little.
"Relax," you said, "no one is trying to peek through a third story window of some random apartment." Jeff looked at you in a way you couldn't describe. It felt like a nice look though, so you smiled at it. You got down on your knees and started scrubbing the floor with detergent that had a citrus smell to it. You hoped that you would be able to get this stain out of the floor without having to use bleach, but your hopes were soon crushed as you got up all of the blood, but not the red stain that was left behind. You sighed and got up, grabbing the wet mop and pushing it over the detergent. You laid the mop against the wall and went to the kitchen to wash your hands and make some breakfast. Jeff followed behind you, stepping over the mopped part of the floor.
