Recap: Then I also heard the cops from around the corner. Before I could even let out the deep breath I had been holding in two gunshots went off leaving blood all of over the floor

Alvaros pov

I couldn't believe it when it happened. I was in denial the entire time. How could it have possibly happened.  I refused to let it happen. After everything I swore. To protect them and never leave their side from day one. Here they are in the hospital bed and there's absolutely nothing I can do about it. How could I have possibly been such an idiot. I should've done something the moment Zach stepped foot in the house. But no here we are in the hospital because I was too afraid to do anything. It's all my fault.

Mattias pov

Its all my fault. God why am I so stupid. Two people are shot because of me. Why did I have to do that. I never should have said anything. I should've kept my mouth shut.  I'm going to have to tell Nathalie and Alejandro the real reason Zach was there. Unless. Unless I don't since Zach is going to jail and no one else knows. Right? No. Of course nobody else knows. I texted Zach and only Zach about this. Yeah of course no one else knows.

Or so he thought no one else knew. Little did he know at that the time that not telling alejandro and Nathalie at the time may ruin the friendship in the future when a certain someone snitches.( but can't get to ahead of ourselves now can we)

Flashback 7 months ago

"Hey mamas" zach  said rather loudly in the school halls hoping to get a certain someone's attention. That certain someone just so happened to be Nathalie. "Uhm hi do I know you" Nathalie said in response very confused as she thought back to all the places the could have met this boy that began talking to her out of the random.  "Not yet but I can change that, here give me your number" he said back which quickly made Nathalie uncomfortable as she had never met him nor talked to him with the exception of that moment. " uhm no sorry... I have a boyfriend" she quickly lied to get out of the situation. "So" he said with his expression not changing in the slightest signifying he was being serious. Although Nathalie had never been in a relationship, she knew she would never be the type to cheat on their significant other. "Oh you're serious... yeah no sorry I don't do that" Nathalie said with a serious face as she was about to walk away , but before she got the chance to Zach pulled her back by her wrists gripping tighter by every second. Thankfully Alejandro came to the rescue. " hey man back off she obviously doesn't want to talk to you" he said looking Zach straight in the eyes. Having to look down a little as Zach was 5'5 and Alejandro was 5'9. "Oh so your the boyfriend" Zach said in disgust looking at Alejandro. Alejandros expression Quickly changes as Zach mentioned a boyfriend and Nathalie hadn't mentioned one or said anything about wanting one. But for Nathalies sake he responded with " yeah you got a problem with that" receiving a quick mouthed 'thank you' from Nathalie " no.. no problem at all you can have that little slut" he said mumbling the last part. Alejandro soon became infuriated as he sure as hell heard what Zach had just said about Nathalie. " what the hell did you just say about my girl" Alejandro replied to zachs small comments making Nathalie blush as he had just called her 'his girl' but she knew it was only for the sole purpose of the situation. Or so she thought. Alejandro had accidentally slipped getting a little too caught up in the "role playing"   "Nothing I just said you can have her" Zach said while rolling his eyes acting much more innocent then he actually was. When his true intention were beyond what anyone would've ever thought could come from a boy his age. "Yeah that's what I thought" Alejandro commented smirking while putting an arm around Nathalie walking away towards the group.

That was how Alejandro "knew" there was another boy when in reality I was and always will be him. No matter what he does Nathalie will always have a soft spot for him and same vise versa. But then before any thoughts let alone words can be exchanged between Mattia and Alvaro a certain someone shows up at the hospital.
