"What...What the fuck?" Kai asked.

He looked at the room as his breath started to shake, he looked around the blood splattered room then looked down at his hands and then his whole body. Every part of him was caked in blood, this was a normal thing to be honest, but the question was whose blood was he covered in?

"Rappa? Are you there?" Kai asked, his voice was shaky as he felt tears well up in his eyes. A cold shiver went down his spine as he slowly turned around and saw it. He saw his boyfriends body completely destroyed, Kai's knees collapsed from under him as he saw the body of his once boyfriend.

"No. No. No! NO!" Kai cried out, without thinking he touched Rappa's body trying to reassemble him.

Trying to bring him back!

But nothing was happening.

Rappa wasn't coming back.

His quirk wasn't working.

"No..." Kai said, tears ran down his eyes as he screamed at the top of his lungs. Everything hurt, he felt like he couldn't breath.

"Kai."

The only joy he felt was gone, his giant puppy dog was gone.

"Kai!"

His soulmate was gone.

"KAI!!"

Kai's eyes opened as a voice called out to him, he sat up and looked around the room. He looked to his left and saw Rappa sitting up and looking at him with worry in his red and light orange eyes.

"Hey, it's okay. Come here." Rappa said. Kai could tell Rappa's voice was shaking with worry, but he knew the fighter was trying to be strong for him. Kai saw Rappa reach out to touch him, this caused Kai to flinch and back up away from Rappa a little. The fighter looked at Kai and saw how he was holding his arms close to his chest.

Rappa knew what was going on.

"Kai, listen to me." Rappa started, Kai kept eye contact with the fighter but his body kept trembling as tears started to fall from his eyes down his cheeks. Rappa reached his arms out to Kai and wrapped them around him, he pulled Kai close, letting the leader rest his head on his chest.

"Was it THAT nightmare again?" Rappa asked, Kai didn't say anything but he nodded his head slowly.

Rappa sighed.

This wasn't the first time Kai had this nightmare before, this nightmare started to appear from time to time for months now and it hasn't been easy for Kai to handle them. Rappa was always there by his side to comfort him when he needed it, yet there are times where when Rappa is away on a mission Kai would have the nightmare and he didn't have his fighter beside him to comfort him or even hold him.

"Kai, everything is going to be okay." Rappa said, he kissed the top of Kai's head and rubbed Kai's back in a calming motion. "I'm not going anywhere." Rappa said.

This was like a normal thing for them at this point, Rappa was always better at comfort than Kai was. Kai was 50% good at comfort and 50% not so much, Kai was never that good at comforting but he was getting better a bit.

Rappa was better at it though.

"I got you, you know I do." Rappa said, Kai nodded his head again. Rappa looked down at him and kissed his forehead, Rappa saw the tear stains on his face and kissed the tear stains. Rappa carefully moved his hand and held it out in front of him, Kai froze knowing what was next.

Kai hesitated for a second, he didn't want to hurt Rappa. Rappa saw how Kai freezed, the nightmares Kai would have are always based around him losing control of his quirk and Rappa getting hurt whether he was wearing gloves or not.

Rappa kissed Kai's lips and started in his golden eyes, "it's okay. Trust me, nothing will happen." Rappa said to him. Kai moved his hand away from his chest as he placed it in Rappa's hand, his arms were shaking as a fresh set of tears rolled down his face.

When both of Kai's hands were in Rappa's, the fighter closed his giant hand when both of Kai's hands were in his giant ones.

"Breathe in then breathe out." Rappa said.

Kai took shaky breaths trying to calm down, his heart rate was slowing down with each breath but he was still a bit rattled due to the nightmare. "Here, maybe this will help." Rappa said.

Rappa layed back down on the bed, his head crashing on the pillow. Kai stayed wrapped up in the fighters arms, one hand holding both of Kai's while the other stayed wrapped around him. Rappa kissed Kai's forehead again, Rappa moved one of his hands and grabbed the bed sheet and pulled it over the both of them.

"K-Kendo?" Kai said, his voice was shaky but also horse due to him crying. Rappa looked down at Kai, "yeah babe?"

Kai struggled a little to say it due to his voice being the way it is, but he took another breath and nuzzled closer to the fighter.

"Thank you, for everything Kendo. I love you so much."
