When December hit, Jenna became a part of Prince's so called social group and she was nicknamed as "MJ" by her friends. Zach and MJ frequently texted each other when they were separated. When the Christmas holiday came along, MJ and her family went to Florida, where her grandparents lived. While Prince went to Hawaii with Tina, leaving Zach and Charlotte out of boredom.
"Hey, Charlotte. You wanna go to the park?" Zach asked Charlotte, who was in her room doing nothing.
"Park? Seriously? Are there any other BETTER destinations than the park. You might step on shit again, bro," Charlotte replied.
"Well if you don't wanna come then fine. I'll just go somewhere else," Zach scoffed.
"Hey, Zach! Wait. Wanna get some In-N-Out?" Charlotte offered.
"Yah sure, sis! Why not?" Zach replied as he headed downstairs and got ready.
"Hey mom. Want anything? Me and Charlotte are gonna get food?" Zach asked.
"Oh. No thanks. Still have the pasta left over from two days ago," Mrs. Yaleman replied.
The siblings then drove to In-N-Out unfortunately traffic got a hold of them. While stuck at traffic, Zach started texting Jenna.
"Hey, Jenna! How you doin? Hope you're having a wonderful vacation!" Zach sends his message.
A moment later, Jenna texted back, "I'm fine. Actually not so well because Chickenpox came to have a vacation with me. Haha! But overall we're having a great time. How bout you? How's your Christmas vacation going for you?"
Zach smiled as he read her reply.
"Oh no! What happened?" Zach worriedly messaged her back.
"Well...two days after our arrival on Florida, I felt nauseous then after three days multiple rashes began to appear on my skin. So there you go, it's Chickenpox," Jenna replied.
"That's harsh! Did you know that Chickenpox comes from the chicken you eat? So STOP eating chicken! HAHA!" Zach tried to make Jenna laugh.
"Haha! That's not even true," Jenna gleefully replied.
"Who you texting, Zach?" Charlotte interrupted.
"Oh...talking to Jenna right now. She says she has Chickenpox," Zach responded to his sister.
"Ooooooo you like her! Don't you?" Charlotte mocks her brother.
"Seriously? This again?" Zach jokingly questions Charlotte.
"Just saying, bro," Charlotte replied with smirk.
"Well...your crush is way weirder than mine," Zach added.
"What can I say, she's been my friend since I was young. And her looks, phew," Charlotte remarked.
"Great! Just keep on dreaming, sis," Zach said before he gets back on his phone.
Thirty minutes later, they arrive on In-N-Out, where the line was so long. This forced the siblings to go to Carl's Jr. and get a takeout. After getting takeout, they decided to head home.
"Hey Charlotte. I've been meaning to ask you. What happened with your "I heart Tina" situation? Did you tell her already? Zach asked.
"Not yet. Still waiting for the right time, Z," Charlotte replied.
"I mean it's been two months since you told me you had feelings for her. Don't you think you should tell her now before it gets too late?" Zach explained.
"Zach please! I can deal with this alone!" Charlotte exclaimed.
"OK. OK. Geez, man. Just saying," Zach sighed.
The topic made the two quiet throughout their way home.
Wednesday, Christmas morning...
*Zach's phone rings*
"What the! That was really loud," Zach was roused from his sleep.
Zach takes a look at his phone and sees Jenna calling him. He quickly answers it.
"Hey! What's up?" Zach says.
"Nothing. Just wanna check on you. By the way, Merry Christmas!" Jenna exclaimed.
"Oh. I'm fine. How bout you? Merry Christmas to you too! You feel any better?" Zach asks.
"Still alive and hanging in there," Jenna giggles over the phone.
"Anyways have you had breakfast already?" Jenna quickly adds.
"Not yet. Just woke up. You?" Zach asks her.
"Just finished my delightful pancake made by my grandma," Jenna responded.
"Great!" Zach exclaimed.
"Anyways we gotta go. Disneyland might have a long line later," Jenna adds.
"Yeah. Sure. No problem. Have fun and stay safe, MJ," Zach wishes the best for his friend.
"Thanks, Z! Stay safe too!" Jenna exclaims as their conversation ends.
After their conversation, Zach gets an idea to ask his sister and his mom to go to an amusement park. Luckily, both Charlotte and Mrs. Yaleman agreed to Zach's idea, which prompt them to go to Knott's Berry Farm before lunchtime.
"This was a great idea, Zach!" Mrs. Yaleman exclaimed.
"It's also a chance for us to bond together!" Mrs. Yaleman happily added.
"Of course! Who wouldn't want to miss their time with their family!" Zach said.
"Yeah! Zach's right! No one wouldn't miss this!" Charlotte joyfully says as she looks at the attractions in the park.
In the park, the Yaleman Family blissfully bonded with each other, which rarely happens since Mr. Yaleman's death. Almost every attraction was ridden by the family except for the roller coasters for Zach had motion sickness like his mother. Instead, the thrill-seeking Charlotte rode the remaining rides. It became a memorable day for the Yalemans.
When New Year hit, the countdown was celebrated in the Yalemans' household. Relatives of the Yaleman family came too. Families of the members of the "Social Group" also came. The "Social Group" was reunited once more before a new year begins.
