'DNA Curse'
"Hm?"
The class perked up at the name of this strange title. Deku shivered slightly as he sat in the cold metal chair. Hatsume seemed confused as she observed her own small computer screen. She seemed as to not know herself what this was. And what they were about to see.
Izuku had a secret. One he has kept for many years. He always called it, "The DNA curse". Anyone else, however, would call it something different. Something they would refer to as, Vampire blood. Izuku has been a vampire his whole life, and only one person knew. Katsuki Bakugou. Izuku's childhood friend was bound to know from the very beginning when they were still too young to even comprehend what a vampire was. For this reason, Izuku never went out to lunch with friends or ate at the normal lunch table at school. He would find somewhere private, and feast on special meat that he's been provided since young. Katsuki knew this secret and kept it with him. He knows what this would do to Izuku's reputation, and possibly put the boy in danger.
"Deku's a vampire!?" Uraraka shouted, holding her head in shock.
"Bakugou has feelings!?" Sero joined in, immediately being pinched by Kirishima, which shut him up.
Since Izuku has joined UA, his secret has not been as easy to keep. Now in a school full of pro heroes and kids with advanced quirks and abilities compared to junior high, it was not so easy to get by the system. Izuku knew he would be found out soon, and begged Katsuki to help him as much as he can to try and keep it under wraps. He couldn't say no. And so, the lying began.
"Hey, where's Deku? He should be eating with us," Uraraka commented, swallowing her bite of sandwich.
"He's probably training," Todoroki shrugged, scooping another bite of cold Soba into his mouth. "don't worry about it too much."
"Todoroki's right, Midoriya is very much capable of pretty much anything if he puts effort into it. No need to be worried Uraraka." Iida smiled.
"I told you Tenya, call me Ochako."
Iida chuckled with a smile, "Sorry, Ochako."
Uraraka leaned into Tsuyu's ear as she whispered, "I know we're kinda past this point, but it's weird to see us on TV."
Tsuyu nodded, "Especially if we're watching ourselves say things we've never actually said or done."
They both nodded at each other and turned their attention back to the screen.
The screen then shifted to a scene of Deku panicking in front of Bakugou.
"Kacchan, I need your help! Please!"
"I told you to quit the whining and explain already!"
"I'm out of food!"
Katsuki scoffed. "Idiot, there's plenty of food in the fridge- ohhhh. I forgot." He stopped, scratching the back of his head feeling like a moron.
"I don't know what to do!" Izuku stressed, gripping his messy green hair, his fangs growing larger as his hunger increased.
"I don't know what to do either don't ask me!" Katsuki yelled back.
"Bakugou?"
The boys froze as they heard the familiar voice of their sensei, Aizawa. If Aizawa found out, Izuku would surely be kicked out of the school. All Might already gave Izuku One For All before he even found out about the whole Vampire thing. But he became supportive after that, which Izuku was grateful for.
