It was a unknown number.
Who would call us in a unknown number ?
Since there was no secrets in our friendship , I knew her password .
I unlocked her phone and just stared at the word "unknown" underlined it red that indicated that it was a miss call.
I must be staring at it for long because I didn't realized that pepper ((that's her nick name I call her)) was already awake and had brushed her teeth.
I just left her phone on the carpeted floor and took a long hot shower which usually makes me forget everything that seems out of place .
I came out of the toilet only draping a towel. I was waiting for pepper to go bathe too so that I could change . I knew that she would take time before she goes to the toilet so I went and sat down on the couch still wearing a towel to block anyone seeing my naked body.
She went into the toilet faster than I thought she would .
I walked to the curtains to make sure they were closed properly .
I walked to my luggage to take out my clothes for the day when I heard a vibration coming from pepper's phone which was charging on the table. It read "unknown" .
