Chapter 15: JIKOOK Past

Having Jeongguk on his lap somehow makes him feel oddly good, watching the latter sleeping so soundly like a baby, he never really heard about him that much the moment he entered this mansion, he only knows some facts about this latter in front of him that he is a good body guard and took a very good care of his boss.

Unconsciously Jimin brought his hand to the latter hair, give him a good stroke, unknowingly this makes him smile seeing this adorable young latter in front of him smiling on his sleep, the grip on Jimin's waist tightened, "just this once Jimin-ssi." Jeongguk looked up with his bambi eyes, begging for Jimin to let him stay like this, like his baby. "please hold me tight, Jimin-ssi."

Somehow the sound of that latter begging melted him and triggered a soft spot inside of him that he never knew still there, he couldn't say no to Jeongguk, so he let him sleep on his embrace, "good night Jeongguk." He says as he drifted to sleep after some time.

The next morning Jeongguk woke up, feeling dizzy, his hang over feels like shit "ah fuck.." he mumbled as soon as his opened his eyes, but the position he was in overpowered his hangover, he was in the embrace of the one and only Park Jimin, "what the fuck.." as he was about to get out of Jimin's embrace, Jimin pulled him back into his embrace. "Do NOT move." He says in a raspy voice, just like that like a puppy to his owner he obeys him. he stays, wondering what the fuck happened last night that brought him to this position.

Jeongguk has always been fond of Jimin, he has known Jimin since high school, he couldn't believe his eyes that the man in front of him is the same man that he stood up for few years ago, the same man that was so delicate, soft and kind, the first thing that came into his mind whenever he saw Jimin was how angelic Jimin is, his soft feature, his pouty lips, and Jeongguk will never forget how scared those eyes were when he was cornered up in that cold alley by some asshole who couldn't leave the poor boy alone.

"what happened to you Jimin-ssi?" he thought, what happened to his precious angel that he saved few years ago, what happened to the bright and innocent Jimin that Jeongguk always admired, that's right Jeongguk went to the same high school as Jimin back in Busan.

Jimin was the only person who has always been kind to him, who always treated him equally like a human while the others saw him as nothing but a troublemaker. Jimin always smiled at him in the hallway, for him Jimin was like an angel in his fucked up life, that he wouldn't dream or dare to approached, he was scared to disappoint him, because he believed that he was always such a disappointment to anyone around him. Jimin deserved more than just a broken boy whom good at nothing but fighting everyone who angered him.

The Jimin in front of him isn't his Jimin, something must have happened to him that caused him to change drastically from the innocent Jimin he knew, "stop staring at me like that Jeon." How could he stop? He has so many questions in his mind, "what happened to you?" he looked up at the owner of that pouty lips, "shit happens." Jeongguk frowned at the answer that he received.

"do you know who I am?" he asked as Jimin just looking at him fondly and smiling at him, there the bright smile that Jeongguk always so familiar of, "to be honest, I didn't notice you earlier, I didn't realized you sooner, I'm sorry."

"do you remember me now?" Jeongguk asked with a hopeful eyes, "of course, how could I forget my knight of shining amour, you saved me from those bullies, I'm sorry I didn't remember you earlier, I'm sorry I didn't had the chance to thanked you for what you did to me." like he has no more control over his body, his hand moves on it's own to Jeongguk jawline, tracing it with his cute fingers, Jeongguk likes it, he likes it a little too much that it's not good for his heart, it won't stop pounding and beating so fast as soon as Jimin lay his finger on his face.

"what can I do for you Guk? To repay your kindness that time?" he asked as Jeongguk went soft for that look of Jimin's face, "tell me everything, what happened to you? because the person that you are right now isn't the same Jimin I met in that alley, and I would appreciate it even more if you would just be honest to me." he says sternly as Jimin stopped his hand, thinking about his ugly past only bring him nothing but pain.

"i- i don't know guk, I have changed, I don't want to re-open the wound and add salt on it, I would like to pretend to forget that rotten side of me, that expired side of me that you once know."

His heart broke in two hearing that came out directly from Jimin, he felt angry, he tried so hard to resist himself not to ruin his life, to keep Jimin stays in a bright side, in everything that Jeongguk never had, but someone just had to ruin it. how could someone be so evil that they had the heart to ruin and broke this angel in front of him, he thought.

"it's okay hyung, but if you change your mind one day and ready to tell me, I would be there for you." he says as he was smiling, a beautiful smile that startled Jimin, "thank you guk."

Maybe the circumstances they are in right now, isn't really the best one, but they both are thankful that fate brought them together, they met again, they are thankful of the universe and they believe that none of this was just a coincidence, it's fate brought them together, and that was the moment they realize that they are meant for each other. They are each other fate, and for the first time in forever, they have never felt so complete before when their lips crashed on to each other, it felt complete, because they complete each other, because for once in their life, they kiss with so much passion and longing, this kiss that they shared is more than just the usual kiss they shared with others.
