Chapter 19: Life After He Left

One year later...

After Hoseok leave Yoonji with nothing but an apologize and promise love letter, Yoonji spend her life the way Hoseok would want her to be, this is the first time for Yoonji to be in love, to be attached on someone too deep, she would looked up to her window every night wondering where Hoseok would be right now.

She never looked for him, she wanted to respect his decision, besides she believes that he is her fate, and if he wasn't the she would rewrite her stars and make him as hers. Sometimes she would cry in her room cursing her fate to be this way.

It was an usual Friday evening, Yoonji was busy enjoying the view to her apartment, her new apartment somewhere in Gwangju, she left her mafia life after she found out about the shocking news, the unbelievable news that makes her believe in her fate that she was destined for Hoseok and the other way around. She is now a business woman, her clothing line "hopeworld" is famous and always sold out in Korea. She is living a decent life waiting for Hoseok.

Her peaceful evening was disturbed by a cheerful voice belongs to no other but Jeongguk, "Yoonji noona!" the day after Hoseok left, she changed a lot, she would smile more to the boys, at first they thought that she had finally gone insane but no, she gets better and better everyday.

"yes, gukkie?" she asked with a smile on her face, a genuine smile that hold so much emotions, "Jimin and I are finally engaged!" the latter says with so much enthusiasm showing off his beautiful ring on his finger.

"Oh My God!! Congratulations!" she pulled him into a hug, "i'm so happy for you Guk!" he showed her, his cute smile and quickly realized that he was being ignorant to her feelings. "noona, how are you?" he asked as worry was obvious in his voice. "I'm hanging in there Guk..." she says faintly as tears running down her beautiful face.

"it's okay noona, let it out." He says as he pulled her into his embrace, "wh-what If fate played me again koo?"

"no, fate won't play you as if your life was a game noona, believe in him, now stop crying, I found this delicious tteobokki house just right around the corner, they just opened today, my treat." With a smile Yoonji accepts his offer.

As soon as they arrived, the tteobokki house was packed up, "is that the owner? OMG he is so handsome..." Jeongguk only rolled his eyes as he saw these thirsty customers drooling over the owner of the tteobokki. "do you see his smile? That was the brightest smile that I ever seen in my whole life." Says one of the customer, "I know really, his smile resembles the sun a lot, so bright..." that caught Yoonji attention, because she knows that one of a kind smile only belongs to none other but Jung Hoseok.

"excuse me, is the owner really that good looking?" curiosity got the best of Yoonji, as Jeongguk looked at her confuse was written all over his face. "yes!! His smile is the brightest smile that I ever seen." She widen her eyes, no way, her heart skips a beat. "really? What is his name?"

"he went by the name JHope." One of the customers who already got their orders in their hands say, as Yoonji knitted her eyebrow and frowned, "oh, okay thank you."

"welcome to Hobi Tteobokki, can I have your order?" that voice, that familiar voice Yoonji knows that voice so well, she looked up to find the owner of the voice, shocked was written on her face. Gasping for air "H-Hoseok?" she says softly as the latter was shocked as well, tears rolled down Yoonji's face, Jeongguk who witnessed everything dropped his jaw "Oh My God please tell me it is you!" Yoonji says in between her sobs. Hoseok wiped her tears as he smiled at her, that favorite smile of her, "it is me..."

"um, noona, sorry to interrupt but, can we order first?"

"right, I would like one large spicy tteobokki and 1 sundae please?" she says as Hobi smiles at her and wrote down her order.

"coming right up, love." He said as he winked at her.

After she filled her stomach with the tteobokki, she is waiting inside until Hoseok finally have his break, as for Jeongguk, Jimin picked him up before he had a chance to catch up with Hoseok, "Is this seat taken?" Hoseok asked her playfully.

"yes, I'm waiting for my man..." she said as Hoseok frowned at her answer, "oh..."

"pabo! You are my man!" she says as Hoseok sighed in reliefs, "how are you?" he asked as she burst in tears, "you were so mean, do you know that?!" she complained at him, "how could you left like that? don't ever do it again! I have done what you asked me to, eat more, smile more, I even left the clan."

"I'm sorry, i won't leave you again, I promise." He says as his hand grabbed her wrist to pulled her closer, he leaned into her and crashed their lips together, finally she felt at bliss, finally they feel complete, because the loneliness, the longing that they endured for the past year is finally paid off, the waiting was finally over.

It is time for Hoseok to do what he promised her a year ago, to not let her sleep alone again, to fulfill her life with hope, to hold her and take care of her as he promised, to finally kiss her in public as she wished year ago before everything went downhill, to finally show the world how much he loves her and that she is his, to not break her heart again.

"I love you, my ice princess." He says as he broke the kiss and look at her eyes, "I love you too, my sunshine boy."
