The Kitsune King

Explanations and a chance

In the infirmary of Beacon is occupied by teams RWBY and JNPR. All are looking at the single bed containing the one that they can call a friend, the one who saved them all those times from certain death. Morrow. Said boy is currently unconscious although looking at peace in a deep slumber.

Glynda walks into the infirmary and sees both teams there, some looking at her some still looking at Morrow. She sighs and pinches the bridge of her nose.

'I understand their concern but they've missed 5 classes now.' She thought. At the corner of her eye she sees a certain bunny eared faunus standing in the hallway.

"Miss Scarlatina may I ask as to what you're doing here?" Glynda asked

The bunny faunus looks at the ground nervously and speaks up."W-well I came to see that boy that helped me. I wanted to give my thanks.

Glynda reluctantly let's her pass and as she sees a crowd she visibly panicked. "U-uhm hi my n-name's Velvet. I'm that faunus that your friend helped out."

Ruby smiles. "Hi Velvet. I'm so sorry about what Morrow did. He didn't mean it."

Velvet tilts her head in confusion and remembers Morrow flinging her away into a wall. Surprisingly, from that one throw, her aura had already reached the red zone. She frantically waves her hands.

"No it's okay, you don't need to apologise. He helped me afterall." Velvet says, "Is he doing any better?"

"He's fine actually. He didn't sustain any injuries whatsoever." Weiss says, "Although..."

Everyone looks back at the boy, specifically the now two red tails in the cluster of the seven golden ones. Velvet gasps softly and makes her way towards him.

"I-is he-"

"Like Weiss said, he's fine. It's just... his tails became red because of that weird aura." Yang said

"It kinda looked like it burnt the fur off and replaced it with red." Pyrrha says, "Aura isn't meant to normally have any damaging effect."

"What I think-" Glynda said joining the discussion, "Is that his aura acts as a sort of medium to express his emotions."

"What did you mean?" Jaune asked

"We've seen already that his aura is a golden colour. From the fact that no injuries are on him despite the duration of time being in Emerald forest, shows that he can heal surprisingly fast." The students nodded, "But this aura, while having the same healing as his normal aura, seems to be more... malevolent and sinister. Have any of you seen him angered before?"

They all think back to his initiation and shudder at the memory.

"Well there was that time at the initiation, but his aura didn't act like that." Ruby says

"Hmmm, is this the first time it's happening?" Glynda asks

The students look at each other with uncertainty.

"Nope." A voice said behind them. They look and see Ozpin with Jordan,Violet and Angelica.

"Professor Ozpin, I didn't know that you would be bringing them here." Glynda said still wondering the Kitsune's hostility towards the trio.

"Yes, I had decided that its about time that he realized that he stops his hostility towards them." Ozpin said, "But I'm also curious, this isn't the first time it's happening Angelica?"

The one known as Angelica leaning against the wall nodded. "Yeah. If I'm not mistaken you all saw that only two of his tails were burnt off right?" Angelica asks.
