Ready to submit your story? Before you do so, please ensure it satisfies the following reading list criteria:
1. Grammar and Spelling
AfricaHub is committed to showcasing stories that have decent grammar and spelling. Stories submitted must have correct punctuation, use proper spelling, and have an overall good quality.
2. Completeness of the Story
Both completed and ongoing stories are accepted. Once you've finished your story, remember to mark it complete to reach out to more readers who prefer finished stories. Ongoing stories should be updated within the last 3 months with plans to continue.
3. Flow of the Story
Stories must be well-written, compelling, and flow well from chapter to chapter. Try to convey feeling and emotion into your story. Strive to make realistic characters that remain memorable in the minds of the readers.
4. Suitability of the Story
Your story can be in any genre as long as it's centered around Africa. We accept stories set in Africa, are inspired by Africa or have characters who are Africans. Stories set in fictional worlds such as African high fantasy or SciFi settings are also welcome.
5. Adherence to Content Guidelines
All stories must adhere to the Content Guidelines and should be correctly rated.
6. Standalones and Sequels
Standalone stories are accepted if all other requirements are met. As for sequels, only the first book in the series should be submitted for consideration.
7. Fanfiction and Poetry
All fanfics and poems are eligible for submission.

- Any submission attempts made on our message board, in the comment section, or via PM will not be considered.
- Submission does not guarantee you a spot in our reading lists. All submissions undergo a level of screening before a decision is made. This is to ensure our readers get quality stories for their reading pleasure.
- Your story can only be added to one Reading List on our profile to keep space open for other stories. That said, please carefully consider the options when deciding which list to submit your story to.
- We urge you to be patient after a submission is made.
