Caras pov;
I scooped my phone off the bed, el still on the phone, and swung my bag over my shoulder. The girls wanted to go for lunch at that new place in the 02, I wasn't so keen. But my girls can be persuasive.
Just as I got to the door, someone knocked on the other side and I screamed a little. Embarrassed I opened the door slowly,
"Hello!" The lady smiled brightly.
"Hello." I smiled, she was tall and thin, but had a kind face and a sweet voice.
"We've just moved in across the street, and my son Harry doesn't really know his way around here, I was hoping you could show him around a bit." She smiled with a hopeful look in her eyes.
"Mum I know my way around fine." Moaned beanie boy as he crossed the road towards us.
"HE CAN COME TO LUNCH WITH US!" Shouted El from the other end of the phone,
"I mean you could join us for a meal, and then we could show you around, if you'd like." I said, staring past the lady to beanie boy, who I guess was called Harry.
"Nothing better to do." He said shrugging. His mum smiled and left.
I pulled the door closed behind me and sorted my scarf,
"So your Harry then?" I asked, looking over at him as we started walking down the driveway towards the car.
"Yeah, and you are?" He said in a deep tone, fiddling with the ring that pierced his lip.
"Cara Cortebellia."I said as we got in the back of the sleek black BMW. "Town tom, got to meet the girls for lunch." I sighed.
"That's not a very original name, can I call you something shorter?" He asked looking at me. I looked back at him, he wasn't bad looking, dark curly hair under a grey beanie, dimples when he smiled, light skin and this lovely smell, that's so hard to explain.
" I suppose you could call me something shorter." I smiled devilishly as the car stopped at a light.
"Caraaaa..." He spoke slowly, "C! Or Cc, whatever you prefer." He laughed sorting his beanie,
"Actually the girls call me Cc, guess you could call me that." I smiled weakly.
"Alright then." He chuckled as we got out the car.
Sass, El, Viccy and boo we're standing under a shops doorway, and all their eyes widened as me and Harry moved towards them.
"Hey guys." I smiled giving them 'the look' as if praying for them not to ask questions. But they all smirked and giggled as we walked off towards the restaurant."Emm, I'll just have some plain noodles with soy sauce and cola please." I smiled at the young waiter, who kept giving Harry dodgy looks. To be fair, if I didn't know him, so would I.
"That's all your having?" Harry asked "your like a walking bag of bones, you should really be eating more than a mouthful of noodles and some juice you know?"
He had this concerned look in his eye while he said it, does he actually care at all? We had just met earlier today, nahh, probably just wants to make a good impression. We finished eating and drunk the last of what was left in the cola jug, then got up to leave.
"Do you still want us to show you around?" Asked boo.
"You really don't have to, I mean, the boys and I have a meeting soon anyway, and-"
"A meeting? Where do you work?" Questioned El, and I imaginary face palmed.
"I'm in a band, but we're not really any big deal." He said putting his hands in his back pockets.Harry's pov;
These girls are crazy, I thought when Cara was staring at me on the bus she had worked out who I was, but no she was just genuinely staring at me. Is it not obvious I'm Harry styles?
Do the people here really not know who I am?
Even though I'm from around about here, they actually don't know me?
Not even my name?
Do they watch TV?!
Just as I was lost in thought my phone started ringing.
"Alright mate, where yah at? The meetings about to start and I'm hungry already-"
"Niall shut up," I laughed "I'll be there soon, I'll grab a cab or something, come meet me at the door."
"Sam could take you, I'll get tom to phone Sam and bring round the bigger car,I mean,it's a limo, but it's still a car, anyway since your 'no big deal' you won't mind that will you?" Said Cara looking at the floor and playing with her nails.
"I don't wanna be a hassle-"
"No hassle, me and the girls are going back to mines anyway, finding a new place for me to stay." She said looking up at me, being 6'2 means most people look up at me really.
"Well if that's okay then yeah, that'd be great thanks Cara." I smiled weakly before she walked away.
"Who's that now hazza?" Niall laughed,
"Just some girl who lives across the road."
"Anne set that one up again?" He said, and I could hear him crunching into something.
"I'll explain when I get there, start making your way downstairs you slob." I chuckled before hanging up.
"Ohhhh bandmates! Bet you could set me up with one of them ae!" Chuckled one of Caras friends as we got in the limo,
"Probably." I muttered under my breathe.
I'm not going to lie, all of her friends were good looking, but through the whole meal it was Cara that caught my eye.
She's pretty I guess, and she has nice eyes, short too, I find that cute. But it's her personality that strikes me, and every boy says that so he doesn't sound like a player, but she's really caring and kind, although she's not so caring and kind to herself. Like, she's a popular girl, but she has this wary look around her, like she's scared, or broken and hurt.
"We're here." Sighed the driver.
"Bye Harry!" Smiled her friends all at the same time.
"Bye guys, bye Cara." I smiled getting out.
"Bye Harry." She smiled weakly, blushing. Whys she blushing?
