Chp 1 - Invisible.
Robin's POV
"Honey," my mother said before peeking through my bedroom door "So I was thinking of going to the library and I was hoping you could come along?"
I sighed before nodding nevertheless "Yeah, just let me quickly change."
She smiled before leaving.
I picked out blue ripped jeans and a clean black t-shirt before changing my sweaters and tank top with them. I pulled my hair in a man bun before taking a second to look at my reflection.
I just have annoyingly long black hair that suppresses my pectoral and am sorta proud of it. I have blue celestial eyes and pale skin.
I roll my eyes then I went downstairs. I didn't want to keep my only friend waiting which is obviously my own mother.
I had to admit this even to myself but I don't have friends.
None.
I am not really a seen person. I like reading which is a good occupation at the current moment since well... my mother can be irritating. She was always down my throat about me having friends while she knee i was an outcast.
I wasn't bullied either not gossiped about... I was just an invisible wall that never existed. I didn't even know what a friendship was like but my parents were more than happy to be my friends so I didn't need to have any complaints.
"ROBIN." I heard an excited scream that made me shriek but I was happy to hear that voice and that would be my sister. She ran before jumping on my back like she thought it was a good idea.
''Lenora." I said slowly "You're getting fat ya know. My back can't take this horrible punishment."
"Am not fat!!" Cried the nine year old "I just have serious muscles.''
I didn't know whether I should laugh or just drop her down so I shook my head before running a hand through her dark black hair after I carefully put her down on the floor and turned to face her.
"Of course." I agreed "You're my protector after all."
"Yeah!" She said happily before pretending to shake her muscles "These guns are strong."
I chuckled just as my mother called my name.
"Get chocolate." Lenora demanded.
"Where is your respect?" I gasped in a fake hurt sound "Besides chocolate will ruin your teeth."
"Chocolate." She demanded again like that would do something.
"Am not kidding." I sighed.
"Do I look like am joking?" She asked before leaving nor waiting for my response and I laughed before leaving the house with a mental promise to buy her chocolate. Mother was in her car and she looked at me as i entered.
"Lenora was with you?" She asked with a chuckle.
"Yeah. The sassy Queen demanded i but her chocolate." I said while shaking my head.
"That would be her." She said as she left the garage. Mom was a slim woman who wore a casual jeans and a turtle neck "you haven't found them have you?"
"No mom," I whined. I was officially eighteen and I already knew who they were but I wasn't going to share that with my mother "I haven't."
"Such bad luck." Mom said softly "A mate is someone's dream."
Yes that's true but I wasn't going to be with the most important person in the pack if anything....I refuse.
-He still doesn't know you- argued Matthew...my wolf -If anything. He doesn't know you're the mate. He will be turning eighteen tomorrow-
"What makes you think I'II go?" I asked through my mind knowing he could hear me very well.
- Don't test me- was his reply before he closed himself off.
I wasn't ready to be a ruler and the rules here forbid gay couples. The last ones either ran a way together or were killed.
Being gay makes you weak. I wasn't in the mood for this at all.
I preferred my life of being invisible though.
