(Author's note: Thank you for reading my fan fiction, this is my first one that I've ever written. Hope you enjoy reading!)

-Story set in ON era (February 2020~)-

[Hana]
I moved for the 5th time. I swear, I don't have any sort of problem. I'm not those cliche girls that are always moving because they cause trouble or anything. It's just because of my dad's work. He's a single dad, my mom left 3 weeks after I was born. Cruel, I know. So my dad works random jobs all over South Korea.

Honestly, all school are the same, but at the same time a little bit different. My experiences in every school is always the same though. Get forced to introduce myself in front of the whole class, make no friends at all, only care about classes for a year, then I would have to move again. Dad will say this might be the last time we're gonna have to move every time but I actually feel like this one might be the last move.

"Nam Hana!! Are you done packing yet?" Dad shouted from the apartment lobby.

I packed the last box in the room and took it downstairs without turning back at the empty bedroom behind me. I've learned to not get too attached. I walked downstairs and put the box in my dad's small car. I've also learned not to have a lot of belongings.

"I think this will be the last time we're gonna move, Hana." Dad said.

"Sure, dad." I replied

"We're moving back to Seoul! You're enrolling in a school called Joonghwa International High School."

"Wait...really?"

This took me by surprise because that school is a very famous private school. An expensive one at that.

"Yes. I'm sorry we're moving on such short notice. Thanks for being so considerate."

"Of course, dad."

"I gotta take this call, will you stay in the car?"

I go in the car and stare at my reflection in the window at my sleek curled long black hair and my hazel colored contacts and my thick luscious glossed lips . I go inside and wait for my dad without a word because he immediately faces in the opposite direction to take the call. I'm used to it now I guess, since my dad is always so busy. I'm not really sure about how I'm supposed to feel about moving back to Seoul...thats the only place that I've ever stayed at for over a year.

I scrolled through the school that I'm going to be enrolling in's instagram page. The campus doesn't look that bad, it looks pretty normal. I look in the followers section to find out more about the kids at the school. It doesn't have a lot of followers. Only about 2500? I guess if all of them are parents and students, it's a pretty high number.

My dad ended the call and walked toward the car. I have the iPhone 4 because we don't have the kind of money to be using iPhone 11s or anything expensive like that. I put my headphones in, turned on my favorite song and opened google and searched up 'driving daegu to seoul'. Apparently it takes a whole 3 hours and more. AND since its rush hour, it will take even more time.

I woke up to my dad shaking me awake telling me to get out of the car to tell me that we've arrived. I looked behind my dad's shoulder and saw a tall slender man dressed formally. I had a feeling he and my dad were talking before I woke up. I checked the time and it was already 12am. I got out of the car not saying a word and followed my dad inside the shockingly fancy looking apartment. While I'm looking around I caught dad talking to the tall man. He says just a minute and comes to me.

"Dad this place is amazing! How did you get this place?" I say.

"Hana, this is the CEO of the company that I am working for."

I bowed and said hello to him formally.

"I'm Hana. Nice to meet you Mr. Kim." I said.

"Hi, I'm Kim Hajoon. Nice to meet you!" He said with a soft smile with his eyes crinkling.

My dad said his goodbyes to him and we got on the elevator. Dad pressed on level 33.

"He was kind enough to get this place for us. He owns a lot of buildings." He said with a playful spark in his eyes.

We got off the elevator and opened the door with a password on a door lock. Going in, I was dumbfounded. The apartment is the biggest one that I have ever seen in my 16 years of life.

"Oh yeah, Hana, Mr. Kim said that his son is in the same grade as you. You should try becoming friends with him." Dad said.

"That's cool I guess. I'm really tired. Dad, will you show me where my room is?" I replied.

He showed me to my room and I looked around. There was even a huge bathroom and walk in closet that was the size of my old room back in Daegu. Everything was white with a marbled floor with some tan accents. There was a king sized bed in the middle of the room with a sitting area next to the enormous window covering the wall. I gaped at the empty void in front of me but passed out on the bed.

--------------------

I wake up to my annoying alarm sound from my phone, that I forgot to plug in yesterday. I groan while trying to find my phone, which only has 36% battery.

I see my uniform neatly hung on my door. First day of school...I sigh with the thought of socializing. At least I don't have much to unpack...I get up reluctantly and stared at my 2 boxes and one suitcase that I didn't remember putting on the marbled floor. I opened the suitcase and boxes and started taking out the objects in them. Books, pencils, pens, blanket, my alpaca stuffed animal, clothes, random belongings, and my one family photo before mom left. After unpacking and putting everything on the desk, shelves, and walk in closet, I realized there was a present box with a note addressed to me on the nightstand.

'TO: Nam Hana
FROM: Kim Hajoon

I hope you like this.'

I carefully opened up the present after reading the note. Why would a man that I met yesterday give me a present?

I gasped at the object in front of me. It's an iPhone 11. PRO. I almost dropped it out of shock. Is it a bomb? Why would a stranger give this to me?

After a nice, warm shower, blowdrying and straightening my hair, putting natural makeup and my uniform on, I went to the living room to find my dad on the couch. He had a new iPhone too.

"Dad, why did I wake up to an iPhone 11 Pro addressed to me from your boss?!"

"Mr. Kim asked me to give it to you, honey. I refused but he insisted. Come have breakfast, I made your favorite!" He said.

I sat down at the sleek island and ate the slightly burnt avocado toast that my father prepared for me.

"So, first day at school. How do you feel?" He continued.

"I don't know...same old high school I guess." I sighed.

"You should try making some friends. This job isn't a random temporary one this time Hana. We're going to settle here for a while."

"Okay, fine."

"I'll drive you to the school since its your first day."

I sit on the couch and set up the new iPhone.

We got in the car and drove there while admiring my new phone. When we got there, we went straight to the secretary's office. The secretary gave me my schedule and locker combination. Since this is a private international school, they even provided us laptops. I put the basic locker stuff inside. Books, mirror, mini whiteboard, makeup, the usual.

While the secretary showed me to my locker, I got a lot of stares. I figured since it is a very big international school they must have transfer students all the time, but I guess they don't.

The bell rang. I looked at my schedule.

'First period: Math (Ms. Lee - Room 307)'

I went to the first person I could find. He was a kind looking boy with black curly hair covering his eyes immersed in his earbuds.

"Do you know where Room 307 is?"
